I went for breakfast and was impressed with my server's knowledge of what would be GF and DF. I ordered fried eggs with potatoes and bacon but after she checked with the kitchen, she confirmed that the potatoes were made on the same surface as French toast and cautioned me against those. She offered extra bacon instead (made safely in the oven) and gave me a great bowl of fresh fruit instead of toast. No reactions, delicious food, and an amazing oceanfront view!
Spoke to a manager at Driftwood and he explained that nothing there is GF any longer.
I called ahead to ask about how they could accommodate myself (celiac) and my mother who is on a restrictive autoimmune protocol diet. We had the roasted Brussel sprouts and octopus appetizers. For my entree I had the red snapper and did not get sick. They staff was very accommodating to our allergies/restrictions and the food was awesome! Delicious food and not overpriced!
