Ordered desserts. Gf cheesecake was solid but chocolate mousse cake was excellent. Only place in Ames open for dessert after 9 pm.

I liked the food but got sick after eating. I ordered the shepherds pie and specifically asked for gf. My husband ordered the O’Brians Stew which said GF available. I wanted to try his and asked the server if his was only not GF because of the side of bread that came with his. She went and checked and came back to say the cook checked the recipe and said it was GF. Then came back to say it actually may not be GF. It made me wonder if mine was actually GF as it seems the stuff may be made up ahead of time? Just a warning. The food was amazing though I liked the taste! And the GF Carmel cheesecake was to die for. Service was great and the server kept apologizing, it’s fine I’ll survive but sad I can’t trust the food :(

We ordered lamb stew and Shepard’s pie with the GF options and GF cheesecake and GF mousse cake. The second cake was the one you find in the freezer section of the grocery store. I’m thankful they had so many options. It was delicious. And no one got sick.

Lots of gluten free options for those with intolerances. Would not say they are Celiac safe.
Their menu has a few items that can be made GF when requested. I ordered the salmon salad. My salad came with croutons after I requested GF. The waiter was very kind and said that he would have the salad remade. Even if they didn't completely remake the salad, my reaction was so severe that there must have been gluten in the dressing or marinade. There are also many questionable GF items on the menu including a salmon with stout, lamb stew, and shepherd's pie. I recommend steering clear of this establishment if you need to eat GF!

was disappointed with their understanding between GF and Celiac safe. no dedicated fryer, yet they say they have GF fried items. and then simple things like steaks are not listed. they have staff that eat "GF", but clearly don't have Celiacs or take it seriously. disappointed. do have a good selection of GF ciders.
