Best Gluten Free meal in Seattle! Had their award winning Clam Chowder, sooo good! The Mango Cod was fabulous, cooked to perfection and so tasty. The GF Carrot cake was light and moist and so delightful. Our server Tyler was outstanding. Leaving full and very happy, great experience, will definitely come again when in Seattle.
Best food around! Amazing grass-fed beef burgers with option for gluten-free bun. Seafood chowder was award-winning and our 14 yr old son ordered it three days in a row!

I have eaten here a few times and is always been great. The GF menu is even better now that the chowder is all gluten free! All The servers have been helpful and really nice about answering my questions. I highly recommend the traditional chowder!

They have a gluten-free menu. I ordered from it, informed my server had an allergy/celiacs. Confirmed the food was gluten-free when it came and the found a crouton I food. I would not recommend this place to anyone that has celiac.
Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating of gluten free customers. All chowders are gluten free and burgers can be requested with GF bun. Chain owner’s daughter is Celiac and they even have a newsletter where they talk about the menu items they are trying to convert to GF.
Great food and many celiac safe options. Chefs daughter is gluten sensitive so staff takes it very seriously. The manager came out to talk to us. Served tortilla chips and salsa instead of bread. Clam chowder, rockfish tacos, and salmon were all amazing! Only complaint was that it was expensive.
Am visiting Seattle for the first time. Had a wonderful dining experience. The server was very knowledgeable! We have severe gluten allergies and were impressed with the attention to detail and the care with which our food was prepared. One of the members of our party also has a casein allergy in addition to a gluten allergy and this was also accommodated. Would definitely eat at this restaurant again.
I almost cried with happiness when I discovered Duke's had expanded their gluten free menu to include all their chowders. I used to go to Duke's all the time before I had to go gluten free, and loved their traditional chowder. I had only gone once since my diet changed. While the Manhattan chowder is good, it just isn't traditional chowder, ya know? So tonight when I looked in 5the fmgf app to see what was close to my hotel, surprise! not only is there a location at South center, but (click to website and download menu....) all their chowders are now gf!!! Their staff are always pleasant and accommodating. so I got to have my favorite chowder (tastes as good as I remember after 5 years), my favorite salad (their tarragon vinaigrette is marvelous) with a skewer of wild Mexican prawns for under $25. !!! sure it's not the cheapest restaurant, but I've paid more for less of worse quality. I will keep coming back here because they're quality had never disappointed me! oh. and to top it off, they brought me fresh corn chips and salsa to much on when normally Brad would've shown up at the table. I didn't even have to turn the basket of bread away.
We went here for lunch and one of us needed gluten free one didn't. We started with a bowl of clam chowder that we both enjoyed. It wasn't the best chowder we've ever had, but it definitely seemed to be made from quality ingredients. Keep in mind if it matters to you they have many soups that are gluten free--really nice. My husband ordered the fish and chips which he said was fine, but he wouldn't order again. Partly because they come with large steak fries and he prefers thinner fries. I ordered the wild caught salmon with blueberries and goat cheese. It came with a side of zucchini and organic red potatoes. I was hoping for more of some type of sauce, but it was just fresh blueberries with warmed slabs of goat cheese on top. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Now for the dessert they had an amazing gluten free carrot cake with a raspberry sauce. My husband doesn't even like carrot cake, but this was so good! Nice to know they told us they don't use corn syrup in it or high fructose corn syrup. Definite repeat on the cake. The atmosphere is very cozy and they must have spent some money on noise reduction materials because even though they were busy it wan't overly loud. Also the side by side booths had a very adequate space between them. The restaurant and restrooms were kept very clean which was nice. The servers couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful especially with the dietary restrictions. We never had to look for more water as they were always there. We went here for lunch, but at $69.31 (not including the tip) for two that's a pretty expensive lunch. Would still recommend it and probably go back, but just order a bit differently.
Last night we went to Duke's Chowder House in Tacoma for dinner. When I asked for the gluten free menu the waitress asked me if it was an allergy, personal preference, or celiac disease. When I told her celiac, she alerted the kitchen staff and manager, and the manager came to our table to explain their safe handling procedures (new gloves, separate utensils and pans, etc) and answer questions. The waitress knew which drinks were GF, offered chips and salsa instead of bread, and even the server was aware of the GF order and answered my questions as the food was placed before me. The Alaskan salmon with goat cheese and blueberries was superb, and the award winning chowder is a must. Short of a dedicated GF facility, it seems this is as safe as they come for dining out gluten free.
Good selection of GF items including Chowder. When ordering a GF burger they are happy to sub Chips & Salsa since they don't have a dedicated fryer. They also carry two different GF Beers including Local Ghostfish Brewery. To top it off they have great group of people working here.
There have been multiple times that I've gone here and have been satisfied by the service and food. Tonight I was blown away by the Rockin Rockfish Tacos! They were so delicious I didn't feel like I was "missing out" it's a huge riskeating out as a Celiac but I always feel comfortable eating here. Also are able to substitute in Tito's vodka for the cocktails so you don't feel like you're missing out there either!
