Review of Duke's Pad Thai

Shady restaurant!

Unlike my previous visits, I visited Duke’s recently and the food has horrible! The coconut soup came out as a broth instead of creamy and the green curry was a neon green and watery. I had these dishes there before and they were not like this. I asked the girl at the register and she said she was new and that the manager was out of town. I called back and talked to the manager, Jonathan, after he returned and he said he was so sorry, that they had new people, and that the food wasn’t prepared correctly. He INSISTED that they remake the entire order, including the dumplings that I didn’t have any complaint about, and said to make sure to order when he was there. Sounds good so far but then when I called to place the order, Jonathan hung up on me when I said who I was without saying a word. Then they didn’t take my calls when I tried to call back. When I was able to get through, the girl said that Jonathan had just left and to call back and talk to the owner. The only issue with that was that I heard Jonathan talking in the background!!! I tried to call back multiple times and the restaurant won’t even take my call (they must be able see my number on caller id) so I can’t talk to the owner or anyone else to clarify the situation! I am so confused and frustrated by this situation. This is the worst experience and customer service that I have ever had at a restaurant and I will be telling everyone to steer clear of them. How can a restaurant that admittedly messed up an order and offered to remake it not take my calls and act like I’ve done something wrong?!?!
