The menu online tells you what is gluten free. It tells you to tell your waitstaff, but our waiter wasn't much help. Luckily I had scoped it out ahead of time! I had pork belly and the kale. While the pork belly appeared to be a small portion, I couldn't eat it all. The kale was EXTREMELY spicy and I just couldn't finish it. I also had a canned gf hard ginger beer that was quite good.
It was pretty good, we sat at the bar as we didn't think we'd need reservations for 2 at 4:00 on a Saturday. Both bartenders were knowledgeable about what was GF on the menu and what wasn't. I had smoked mushrooms appetizer, it was interestingly delicious (tiny button mushrooms they smoked, I thought they would use larger maybe baby Bella's - but it was good!) All of the smoked meats are GF, so had the ribs, very tender, fall off the bone. The BBQ sauce is GF, but I'm not a sauce person, so I didn't try it. Limited as to what sides are GF, I had the potato salad, it was ok, but I hardly touched it as I was full on mushrooms and ribs. The bartender thought I didn't like it, so she took it off the bill (not unhappy about that!) Sadly no desserts, but I didn't have room anyway. For those of you who go with a non-GF person, my hubby had the Mac n cheese, and said it was uninspiring - he makes it way better, but he thoroughly enjoyed the brisket and chili (both GF) so it's still worth a trip. I'm sure we'll be back, good food and good service.
Food was tasty, but it is not as cheap as it looks because the portions are very small. Be ready to spend 30+ $ per person if you want a decent meal.
Great place, accommodated my allergy. Entire line changed their gloves for me. I would definitely come back!
