I was told the chef's girlfriend has celiac, so they seemed very aware/careful. Eaten here several times and never got sick.
I really like the pizza crust, but my husband doesn't. It's like a sourdough (almost reminds me of injera) that's very airy. My husband does not like it though. I've had it with both a white and red sauce and the white sauce was not a good combo with the crust IMO. Have had the pickle dip and pickles and a salad as well. Really been wanting to try the fried chicken (but have a hard time passing up pizza).
It does get pricey with the uncharged and cocktails, but overall I feel safe eating there, love the vibe and the food/drinks are tasty!
November 2024: Got to have pizza again, and tgeir version of Patatas Bravas frim a dedicated fryer (delicious)! Always enjoy the house pickles, too.
This was the second time we’d come here and it was a pleasant surprise to learn they cook their pizza on GF crust in a separate oven! Our server was also knowledgeable to let us know the dedicated fryer was down so there were a couple of appetizer options not available. House pickles were fun and street corn was CRAVEABLE! Drinks were all great, too!
This place has “okay” gluten free pizza. I was thankful they had options but it’s very tough and smaller than the small size of other pizzas. Very expensive up charge as well. If you’re coming for pizza, hard pass. But if you are coming to be with friends then you’ll have options.
I asked if the pizzas are cooked on separate trays than the non GF ones and was informed GF PIZZAS HAVE THEIR OWN DESIGNATED OVEN!!! I got the pizza covered in brie cheese it was delicious. So far no glutening symptoms! They also have lots of great NA drinks, I really liked the “think the best sprite you’ll ever have” one. So far no gluten symptoms 24 hours later
Worst gluten free pizza crust i’ve had in the cities, unfortunately our service has been bad both times i’ve come here.
