Excellent staff and knowledgeable. Fries are cooked in separate fryer and therefore safe. I had a chicken sandwich with spinach, Brie and figs on a GF bun (very good). Son had Cajun chicken dinner - they usually cook on the same grill but chef said would cook in separate pan to avoid cross contamination- awesome place to eat as celiac.
The bbq ribs aren’t gluten free the lady said she could checked with the kitchen To see if they can do it without the sauce because it contains gluten but she said it comes with the sauce
A good selection of gluten free items items. Great tasting.
Great gluten "aware" menu. Never have had a problem eating at Earl's Sherwood Park.
Menu was marked with gf items but there’s a note at the bottom saying it doesn’t mean no cross contamination. Very few items were marked anyway. I ordered a salad and there were no dressings without gluten so I had an undressed salad. It was fine for an undressed salad. The waitress seemed very confident in the restaurant’s ability to handle celiac, but much less confident when explaining the parts of the salad that are gluten free. My salad came with dressing on the side but on the same plate? Do they think celiac is a preference or something? I appreciate the marks on the menu, though. Won’t come back if it’s up to me.
our waiter was incredibly nice and triple checked with the kitchen and manager to ensure that they could prepare their „gluten aware“ pizza as safely as possible. they don’t have a dedicated oven but he told me they’d put it on a pan and made sure that all surfaces that it touched would be clean. i didn’t end up feeling sick but for a celiac i’m not very sensitive when it comes to things like shared ovens so definitely know your tolerance! i really liked the crust as it was thin and crispy
I ate here for dinner and got a burger and fries. They have a dedicated gf fryer, which is great. They also have the option of a "gluten aware" bun for the burger. I asked what that meant and the server said that it doesn't contain any gluten and they've never had any issues, but the company (the bun manufacturer?) can't mark it as gluten free because of liability or something. I didn't get any symptoms from the meal but I was very skeptical of the "gluten aware" bun. I understand the risks of cross contamination in a kitchen, but it shouldn't be hard to find a bun manufacturer that can assure you their product is gf. Overall tasty and no gluten symptoms, but I wasn't very confident in my safety.
