Such a great, cute restaurant with amazing gluten free options and dedicated menu. I got the GF blueberry waffle with eggs and bacon and it was amazing! The staff was kind and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Can’t wait to go back. It’s always nice to eat at a restaurant that understands food allergies.
My favorite place in town to eat. If I could eat here every day, I would. They are SUPER accommodating of dietary restrictions, and have even brought out products for me (when ordering) to let me double check that all ingredients listed on the container are okay for me to consume. They go above and beyond every time. One of the few restaurants I can eat at that puts such care into their customers' dining experience.
It is cash only. The food was amazing. I had gluten free waffle that had lots of flavor. It was a quaint little cafe.
gluten free waffle on their sunday brunch menu was delicious!
Super cute place, but...unfortunately I got a croutons fried in with my potatoes. I informed the server that I have celiac disease as soon as I entered the restaurant. The manager came out and said that he didn't write gluten free on the order so the kitchen staff were not protective about cross contamination. The staff were friendly and I'm sure they are normally very careful, but accidents happen and now I'm left with the repercussions.
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Most menu items could be modified for GF. We had GF blueberry waffles, omelettes, and there is a GF French toast option! And you can bring your dog and sit on the patio. :)
Took a co-worker to East End Eatery who ordered a gluten-free waffle while I ordered a regular waffle. When the waitress gave our plates, we asked her if the plates were correct. She had to ask her manager to look at our waffles because she didn't know the visual differences between a gluten waffle and a gluten-free waffle. Turns out our waitress had switched the plates and giving my co-worker a regular waffle with gluten. A very scary moment for us that could have been prevented
Food was delicious. Menu had several gluten-free options. Atmosphere was quaint. Service was kind but careless, switching both our sides and waffles, even in an empty restaurant.
Nevertheless, it was Celiac-friendly. Just double check they gave you the right order...
I was excited to try a new place as I'm both gluten and dairy free, but I was not impressed here. The food was okay, but not really worth what they charged. I was charged extra for vegan cheese, though it was not mentioned to me by the server or noted on the menu. The service was not good either as we were rushed out and not spoken to kindly at all. The server also tried to give me the wrong plate as another person mentioned. You're better off cooking at home than going here. So sad.
What a great place for families! My kids loved their board games and play area. The owner came out to speak with me about my order. Very well versed in gluten free and vegan options. My daughter and I loved the gf blueberry waffles. They also had yummy looking omelets, Gouda grits, and breakfast potatoes.
We were so impressed with this restaurant! We had a party of 9, one of which was Celiac. The staff was very friendly and well aware of celiac and cross contamination. They offered real gf choices as well as non-gf choices. Everyone was happy, which is not an easy feat with a large group!
There are not a lot of places where those of us with Celiac can get AMAZING gluten free blueberries waffles! Did I say that my waffle was amazing? The owner actually heard me say I had Celiac and personally came to tell me what I should or shouldn't order. AND they don't charge extra for gf options like most places so. They cater too!! Awesome find for Celiac friends!
Owner very knowledgable about Celiac and cross contamination. Have dedicated cooking station and equipment like a separate waffle maker. My kids love it there especially their play area. Lots ofvgreat Breakfast options and typically have atleast one GF special for lunch e.g. Meatloaf, Fried Fish. Just remember that it's cash only!
Not completely gluten free… I'm not certain about the breakfast menu, BUT, the only gluten-free options on the lunch menu consisted of paninis made with millet bread and a regular side salad. They offered "the side of the day" which was macaroni, gluten included. I ordered the side salad and was brought macaroni salad. They switched it out but the same sandwich was redelivered to me. I did not appreciate the man taking our order with an open fly either!!!!
Staff was amazing...took extra care with our family gluten and dairy issues. Gluten free cod...pickled slaw...homemade potato chips and gluten free-vegan brownies.
Best in a long time. Tons of options and owner/chef will take time to help you. I have Celiac & Soy allergies. Great place!!!!!
