Review

Was on a road trip and had eaten at an Eat’ Park in Chippewa the night before without getting sick. I explained my celiac diagnosis to the person taking the orders over the phone. She was knowledgeable and indicated over the phone what items were on the GF menu. I ordered a western omelet for pick-up.

My food was marked “gluten-friendly” on the take-out container. They offered me double fruit since the potatoes it normally comes with were fried in a shared fryer. The staff were kind and didn’t make my accommodations seem burdensome.

As a nice bonus, when my daughter who does not have celiac (as of yet, am I right?) and I went in to get our food, they asked me if it was ok to offer her their trademark Smiley Face Cookie. When I said it was ok for her to take food containing gluten, they offered her one and one for her sibling and gave her a separate bag to put them in. Lovely customer service. My food was tasty and filling. I did not get sick, which was a real blessing considering I was facing hours in the car!
