Huge menu available. Food comes out on a different color dish than everyone else's. Suggestion though: don't order a hot chocolate or coffee "without graham crackers." Seems barista realized after one shake of the topping.
Make a special effort to come here for breakfast food. GF Pancakes, cinnamon rolls, Potatoes, egg dishes galore- they have it all. The excellent coffee and green tea are great compliments to an already awesome meal. We had a group of 9 and service was outstanding. Food came quick and everyone was served a HOT meal. My only regret was not taking pictures of everything we ate. The photos alone could convince any GF CRITIC that good GF food is a reality. 5 stars!
Great gluten free options! Fast and friendly service. Cinnamon rolls are to die for!
They have a separate gluten free menu that has a lot of options. Servers are always very nice about checking if something is gluten free for you. And most importantly, the food is good!
Had the GF cinnamon roll breakfast ( with eggs, sausage and potatoes). All excellent.
Super friendly staff and extensive gf breakfast menu. Had a gf cinnamon role and it was fabulous!
Great variety of GF options. Works with Sweet Ali's to provide gluten free options.
Oh it was so extremely amazing, if i’m ever back in Georgia, this is where i’ll go as often as possible. They have so so many options, it makes you feel like any other regular person. The gluten free cinnamon roll and fresh toasted bread and pancakes and everything was amazing! I’ll for sure recommend it to everyone i ever meet
Best gf cinnamon rolls ever! I try to stop here everytime I travel through and stock up on the cinnamon rolls!
I’ve been eating here for two decades and find few breakfast places in the area that compare. I love their fresh-squeezed orange and strawberry juice, their skillets, sandwiches and specials. The gf bread for sandwiches is great as are their gf pancakes, although I usually play it safe and avoid starches since the egg options are plentiful. Staff have always been friendly and accommodating and meals are marked with allergy tags.
Firstly, they have an interactive menu online where you can filter out allergens and see what is safe for you on the menu. Secondly, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. I am dairy free as well and the only milk alternative was oat milk, which I questioned if it would be gluten free. He willingly offered on his own to bring it to the table so I could see he carton. When I thanked him he said “of course, this is your health we’re talking about!” He also double checked there was no dairy in the potatoes. I’m extremely sensitive to gluten. I had the chicken chilaquiles and an oat milk latte and I had no reactions.
Many Gluten Free options. Traditional breakfast entrees, and also items that are hard to find GF like cinnamon rolls and pancakes. Bottomless coffee pitcher on your table and even a complimentary To Go cup. Your GF selection arrives on a unique color plate so there is no confusion by kitchen or server. Top quality food, prepared carefully, provides a thoroughly enjoyable and Celiac safe dining experience. I have eaten here often without any reaction. On weekends it can be extremely crowded (it is right on the Naperville River Walk) with rather long waits, but definitely worth any inconvenience.
I was so excited when I read about this place online. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about celiac. They have an entirely separate menu and it is HUGE! It appears that they put their gluten free menu items on red plates and the other food on white plates. I ordered the GF cinnamon roll breakfast with chicken sausage and a side of GF mini pancakes. Don’t be fooled, the mini pancakes are basically normal sized pancakes and you get two when you order it as a side. The food came out very quickly. The cinnamon roll is to die for! And the pancakes are amazing, very fluffy. Honestly I have never had such great breakfast food and have a menu have so many options since being diagnosed with celiac six years ago! And it’s right next to Sally’s gluten free bakery so we got some chocolate chip cookies to take home!
I usually don't write reviews, I hope this will be helpful. My family is Gluten Free, my wife is Celiac. We got there early at 7am, not busy. For last day of school celebration as a family. We asked for gluten free menus, told the server we were all gluten free. My wife and daughter ordered 1st followed by me. As coincidence my wife and I ordered the same thing. Upon my order said GF meal name and wife said your getting the same thing, I agreed. Upon arrival my wife and daughters order were correct and mine was wrong. They gave me a random gluten meal, which I promptly sent back. 10 minutes later they came back with the right meal but missing a side. Since we had to be at the sitter at 8 had no time to wait another 10 minutes for a side. Upon checkout, the cashier asked of everything was OK and I said no. There was no Interest in remedies for my unhappiness. Only in a hurry to get me out. I am glad it was me who got sick and not my wife. She can be wiped out for days. I had to hurry to the bathroom. To get sick at a not busy place, Celiac BEWARE! Go somewhere better like Butterfields.
The gluten free menu was extensive! It was so awesome seeing pancakes and cinnamon rolls on a menu not just omelets and other eggs. I would recommend this restaurant to other celiacs. Food was good and safe!
They have an excellent gluten free selection and seem very knowledgeable about celiac. The food is delicious.
They offer an extensive GF menu, but not Dairy free. Extremely disappointed!! Used to offer DF, but no more. Don’t they know most folks that are GF are Dairy intolerant too? Last visit for us. Sad because used to be a staple place we would go and not get sick
This is my go to place when visitng the Northshore to meet people and safely eat out.I have eaten there (celiac) many times and never had a reaction. Wait staff always seem knowledgeable about gluten allergy and cross contamination. Dedicated toaster. different color plates to denote gluten free
I’ve come to this location for a number of years. I ordered an almond milk mocha and scrambler after alerting the server I have celiac. The server brought me a regular milk mocha and “almond milk on the side”???? And then told me they don’t make almond milk mochas. My food came with an English muffin and when I asked for it to be remade and gently alerted the server again that I was Celiac, the server brought the food to the kitchen, removed the English muffin and brought back the same plate. Horrible. Never returning to this location.
The staff is very knowledgeable and assured us they would be very cautious while cooking my daughters breakfast. She is 8 years old and newly diagnosed. Usually we have a lot of tees when we go out to eat because she is limited on her choices. But this place can make almost anything on their menu gluten free! Wish we lived closer!
They have never gotten me or my girlfriend sick so I can confidently say their kitchen practices are very safe and thorough for Celiac people. and their customer service is great as well. On one occasion we thought they had given us regular gluten pancakes because they were very fluffy and looked too good to be true. The manager got us a double order of gluten free pancakes complementary and asked us to bring back our original order so he could show his kitchen staff upon arrival. He explained to us that our pancakes were in fact, gluten free. He still gave us the double order and we apologized for the inconvenience. But I have nothing but good things to say about this place :)
This place is definitely celiac friendly. They have a separate prep area, a gluten free menu, and the servers are very knowledgeable. All gluten free orders come on colored plates, whereas non gluten free food comes out on white plates. While in the area for business, I ate breakfast here 3 times successfully.
Was very disappointed to find out AFTER they served us our pancakes that they don't make dairy free GF pancakes anymore. We made it very clear to the server that a member of our party has a dairy allergy in addition to celiac. Again, very disappointing - not just because they don't offer dairy and gluten free pancakes, but more so that their standards for the care of customers with allergies has turned negligent. This used be a safe place to eat - not any longer.
I had the bacavado omelette and a GF cinnamon roll. While I thought $5 was a bit much for the small roll, it was delicious and something you don't find very often. There were plenty of GF breakfast and lunch options. Remember, they are only open till 2 pm.
Their GF cinnamon rolls are on the dry side and are made in muffin tins, but get the job done and satisfy my cinnamon roll cravings. I was a Cinnabon junkie for years, so I know a good cinnamon roll. Still haven't found one that's up to par, but these are pretty dang good for the time being. Their omelettes and pancakes are also amazing. They have a full GF menu. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots.
I am celiac and I eat at more than one of their locations often. They use to have gf, df pancakes and French toast but now all have dairy. They said corporate won't allow special items made.
Short hair (pubic) hiding between my pancakes, syrup is fake with preservtives, eggs were so raw in middle the whites ran, people didn't know much about gluten, and their cinnamon rolls taste like freezer and were dry. I left without paying, disgusted.
