This place is celiac friendly ONLY if you order very carefully. The waitress explained that there is no dedicated toaster for gf English muffins, etc. and nearly everything is prepared on the same griddle with the gluten-containing items. She explained most of the “bowl” entrees are naturally gluten-free AND prepared in a separate pan, making them a safer bet. She also cautioned that truffle hash browns, as amazing as they sound, are not safe as they go into the deep fryer along with glutinous items. Let’s face it, opportunities for cross-contamination are sky-high in a kitchen that small and busy. I got the scramble bowl which was fine although the eggs were runny (not my preference) and my dining companion got the kale bowl with quinoa and puffed amaranth. Both were fine to above average. In sum, given the dearth of other safe options in the neighborhood, we were mostly satisfied and grateful.
