Terrible. I was told there was only one gluten free option. Eggs, Tricolored potatoes, and chicken sausage. There was something encrusted on my potatoes and my sausage had another piece of meat stuck to it. They were really passive. They remade the whole plate for me. The potatoes tasted old, I ended up only eating the sausage and the eggs.
I was told eggs & omelettes are cooked on separate griddles than the gluten foods. Also that the tri colored potatoes are GF with no cross contamination. Unfortunately, I was sick within 30 minutes of eating my omelette & potatoes. Not celiac safe here.
They told us the Mochi waffles were gluten free and they were not. Then when I went back the next day and asked, they told me they were not. They then charged me for an omelette and extra for fruit after glutening my child with Celiac. He had severe belly pain. If they weren't the only game in town I would've never gone back!
I was skeptical when I saw the reviews but then I realized they were over a year ago! So I went today and checked them out! The server was knowledgeable about cross contamination and told me what was gluten free on the regular menu ! They don’t have gluten free pancakes or waffles but I was able to have an amazing omelette with cheese and bacon! I also had gluten free tri-colored potatoes that the waiter told me were made in avocado oil in their own pan! I didn’t get sick and would eat here again!
We decided to give this place a go after calling to double check that they are able to accommodate GF. Upon arrival I was told that the oil they use has wheat in it. I would steer clear of this place if cross-contamination is a huge factor for you. It’s just not worth the risk. The staff members I encountered were kind but they clearly lacked knowledge of what gluten is.
We stayed at the Aulani Resort and read reviews for this place so we were excited to escape the resort and try new foods. We were so disappointed. It was not a good experience at all and I would never eat there again, or recommend it to anyone who has Celiac. Our server didn't even know what gluten was, she thought it was allergic to fats. We were flabbergasted with her lack of knowledge and willingness to talk to chef about what GF allergy options were safe. We sent her back to the chef two times and both times she can back confused and uncertain, basically telling us there was only 1 GF option on the entire menu, the mango chicken sausage with eggs and you can sub for tri colored potatoes. Reluctantly we placed our order because we had no other options but to go back to resort and we were hungry - the food was so poor quality. My husband immediately didn't feel good after eating his meal. It was low quality fast food and over priced. Between our servers lack of knowledge, limited menu items and my husband's reaction, we would NEVER eat here again.
Yummy breakfast place with a huge menu!! No separate GF menu but tons of naturally GF items. The waitress checked with the kitchen to make sure the corned beef hash was GF/DF. You can upgrade to tri colored potatoes for an extra fee but they are “gluten sensitive” unlike the regular home fries.
No gluten free information on menu and I’m highly sensitive to cross-contamination. Mentioned that I have Celiac Disease and asked if their omelettes could be cooked in an egg-only area. Got the Denver omelette and O’Briens and had no issues. Food was delicious and had no issues.
Service is awesome. A bit of a wait at peak hours but the food is great. I got the egg whites and veggies with rice, no problems and I'm celiac. They also have a mango chicken sausage that's gluten free and excellent. The pancakes on the side were enough for my son who is not gluten free.
So rude. Told us everything on the menu had gluten in it... Don't even know why this is listed on here. Don't waste your time
