We stumbled upon this place and saw from outside that the churros were gluten free AND vegan and ran inside. So glad we did because the taste was AMAZING! Highly recommend!
Run, don’t walk! You’ll need to pre-burn some calories because you will want to eat the entire menu and you will eat so much you will have to be rolled out the door. This place is amazing! Dedicated fryer. All churros are vegan and gluten free! Only some of the dips are vegan.

Yum!! These were honestly way better than I expected. My gluten-eating friends loved them too. I was told everything on the menu is 100% GF but I didn’t inquire about specific ingredients. I didn’t get sick.
Echoing a prior comment - called location & they confirmed that they use Califia Farms Oat Milk in their churro recipe.
Personally, i get very sick from this product (is not certified gf) and recommend that someone with celiac or enhanced sensitivities stay very clear.
I had a great experience here. I was assured that everything prepared in house is gluten free. The churros were made fresh. Very good and not too sweet

Paid for a Lyft to be able to try this place. When I walked in he said “the whole menu is gluten free”. Music to a celiac’s ears. The churros were amazing. Warm with the right amount of crunch. The lemon cheesecake dip was delicious and the og vanilla ice cream is to die for. Go get some churros!!!!!
So yummy!! The churros are wonderfully crispy on the outside and soft with the right amount of chew on the inside. They’re fried fresh when you order them in a fryer that fries nothing else. The dips are all gluten free. We also got vanilla soft serve and I think it’s my favorite soft serve of all time. It reminds me of Hokkaido soft serve (if you’ve ever been to Japan, it’s considered the best soft serve in the country, maybe the world, because it is incredibly creamy and made from their pasture raised cows’ milk). It has vanilla bean specks in it and I ate it days ago but I’m still thinking about it 🤤
I never thought I'd get to eat a churro again that came anywhere close to the ones I had at San Ginés in Madrid, but these ones were pretty damn close. The chocolate had a bit of a funny taste to it which I didn't love (I think it was also vegan, so that may have been why), so that didn't compare unfortunately, but I'd *absolutely* go back for the churros. 10/10.
Amazing churros! I had been craving some since going GF, and these went over my expectations especially with the honey lavender white chocolate!

We happened to stumble on this place and it’s such a gem! It’s 100% gluten free and the churros were amazing. Were tried the s’more’s churro and the twisted dip churro combo. The toasted marshmallow over the pieces was to die for. The churros were fresh, crispy, and tasted incredible. We got the dulce de leche dip to go with our twisted churro and thought it was great. We even ended up adding a bit to the s’mores churro. This is an absolute must stop!

Everything is vegan and gluten-free!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got the Twisted Dip Churro combo which comes with a Churro ring and your choice of dip. For the dip we picked Dulce De Leche which is like a sweet caramel sauce.
It came out warm, crispy, and absolutely delicious! Just be prepared—it can get quite messy with sugar sprinkling everywhere.

The place was dedicated gf. Also, no nuts and no soy in the churros (they use canola oil).
Delicious gluten free churros. They’re huge
This was one of our highlights of gluten-free eating in NYC! First of all, the churros are the most delicious churros I’ve ever had. Second, all the variety of dipping sauces is incredible with our favorites being Dulce de Leche and Dunkaroo. Prices were very reasonable and the staff was so so so nice. In fact when we told them it was my daughter’s 14th birthday, they gave us an extra dipping sauce on the side. I need to go back to this place!

Haven’t had churros since being diagnosed with Celiac 10 years ago. These were amazing!! All churros are GF and vegan. They have vegan sauces as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Delicious unexpected find. Entirely gluten free (churros made with cassava, rice, and coconut flours). The churros are made to order and come out of the oil piping hot. We ordered three to go without dips and ate them while we walked around the city. A great sweet snack that I will come back to when we’re next in town.

Great reasonably-priced (for NYC) gluten-free churros.
Was excited to try their gf df churros … however they use oat milk in their mix. It is Califia Farms oat milk … I don’t think the oats are certified gluten free or purity protocol oats. I only eat purity protocol oats since I’m super sensitive to minute amounts of gluten. So, unfortunately, I couldn’t try the churros. Sad face. The person helping me said he’d tell upper management about my concern.
This was the first time I’ve had a churro in forever and they did not disappoint! Staff was really friendly and confirmed every churro is indeed gluten free and let me know other allergens.

For gluten free diners or folks who are vegan, El Churro is a modern marvel/complete game changer. Every single churro on offer is vegan and gluten free. And so are most of their dipping sauces.
As much as I loved being able to eat a churro for practically the first time, my friends with out any dietary restrictions whatsoever also loved the recipe so consider it a crowd pleaser all around
All churros are GF (and vegan) and that’s the only thing they fry there. Haven’t had a churro in forever, it was delicious.
