We had great service and food at El Cortez! I had the tostadas and my boyfriend had the steak tampiquena. We enjoyed our meals and even had a wonderful dessert. I can’t remember the name of it but it was essentially cheesecake fried in a corn tortilla and covered in cinnamon and sugar, then drizzled with chocolate. Yum!! My boyfriend, who is the celiac, had no trouble with any of the food and felt fine after eating here. I also have to mention the guacamole, which we loved. I haven’t found guacamole I like, but enjoyed this one.

Always excellent Mexican food and delicious margaritas.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Chips are gluten free! Love their salad. This is my "go to" place when I'm in that area.

I'm trying it tomorrow but I spoke to them and found out they educate their staff. They fry their own chips in a separate fryer. I'm expecting it to be great! I'll update my review if it's not! ;)
