Had dinner here after finding Crucero Seafood closed. The server seemed mostly knowledgeable and I did not get sick! I had the mini pionones, garlic shrimp mofongo, and custard. Everything was tasty.
Food was amazing and safe - had the mofongo and cilantro rice :)
Had the plantain soup and it was delicious. I wasn’t particularly in the mood for soup, but decided to try it since someone else said they had it; and I’m so glad I did! And then got the mofongo shirmp, which was good but not as good as the soup. Overall, didn’t get sick!

This is a magical spot. I had Plantain Soup, Shrimp Mofongo and a custard for dessert (plus a Rum Old Fashioned!) The waiter was very knowledgeable about what I could have and there were many options. Love it here.
This is a lovely little restaurant, and they went out of their way to ask the chef what was safe for me to eat. I’d suggest calling ahead of time when they’re not busy to have a conversation about allergies. The food, drinks, and service were outstanding, and the vibe is friendly and special.
