It’s worth the walk up the hill.

The absolute best gf croissant I’ve ever had. Not only are the layers flaky and delicious, but it is slightly glazed with sugar and just crunches right, is flaky, I will dream of this croissant. The raisin cinnamon roll was also delicious, as was the eclair. None of this tasted gluten free in any way. If the bag wasn’t labeled gluten free, I might have had a heart attack lol.

I’m allergic to almonds, so there were things I couldn’t have. But they had ingredients on almost everything and as you can see, I found many things to try.

Amazing dedicated GF bakery with a wide selection of sweet and savory baked goods. They list ingredients and allergens for every item, which is great for those of us with many allergies. Lots of lactose and casein free options as well!

Amazing dedicated GF bakery. They have a wide range of pastries and sandwiches, fresh breads, and other snacks and treats.

Everything was really tasty, croissant was great! Everything is GF! They have also their own packed biscuits which are amazing. Only little bit expensive - but probably normal Swiss prices. Really cosy seating area on 2nd floor.

The best gluten-free croissant I’ve ever had in my life, I will be dreaming about it until the day I can return to get one again! It seriously blew my socks off. I tried a few other of their treats as well, and I liked them all, but the croissant will stick with me the most.

The first time I went to El Gato, I had arrived after closing time and the staff was super nice to unlock the door and let me buy a few items - all gluten free of course. I went back today and selected other goodies. I do recommend this place for anyone who is celiac.

Very nice gluten-free "pâtisserie" with very tasty and original products (pies, cakes, macarons etc.). Possible to have lunch on week days. You can also order customized birthday cakes. Highly recommended!
