Menu did not reflect what was actually gluten free. For example, menu indicated that the chips were gluten free when were not. Overall limited menu. Server sort of assumed gluten free was a fad. I think there are more gluten free friendly restaurants in this area.
Beautiful place with delicious food. We ate here twice while visiting San Diego. I had no problem. Knowledgeable waitstaff. I check and recheck all food before it goes in my mouth. I also leave a big tip and thank them for their extra care if I feel they are truly listening to me. I have been fooled too many times. Barbacoa was my favorite. We ordered lots of little dishes to share and most of the menu is, or can be made, gluten free. Some of the menu changes from week to week so be sure to check every dish every time. One night a dish was deemed safe; the next week it wasn’t as the oil it was cooked in was being shared with a gluten containing food on that particular night. That made me a little nervous so I just tortured my server who was wonderful and she took extra special care to make me feel safe. That’s my only reason for not giving it 5 stars. I usually only rate on safety but the food was superb and it’s a beautiful fun place.

Menu changes weekly. Almost everything is gluten free, with the exception of two menu items. Great cocktails too.
