Some of the best authentic Mexican around. If Oaxacan food is your jam, this place will scratch a much needed local itch. Takeout mostly but they do have seating. It’s always empty but don’t let that deter you. Their salsa verde is increeeedible. Can’t go wrong with anything pulled pork or chorizo, either.
Most of their menu is gluten free as is. Tacos, tostadas, and enchiladas are normally served on corn tortillas, quesadillas too but on softer handmade thick corn tortillas that are deeeelish. They also have sopes and huaraches on the more traditional end of things. Most excitingly, their empanadas are made in a corn dough so those are in play.
They have added a number of gluten containing items to the menu in recent years, so definitely ask about cross contamination. I never used to worry bc the entire menu except for desserts was already gluten free. This isn’t the case anymore with burritos etc.
