Waitress was rude, especially when I asked whether they shared a cooking surface for bread and other food. She tried to argue with me that "other celiacs eat here all the time and they don't have a problem, because the grill burns off all the gluten." YUP, not how that works at all.

Staff was definitely knowledgeable about GF offerings. They are not a dedicated GF restaurant, but have a great detailed GF menu when you ask for it. It goes through each menu item and marks if it's GF, and what parts of the food entree are and aren't GF. They underline what parts make it NOT GF, and star items that are not GF. They offer GF buns and pasta for substitutes, which makes a lot of their menu GF, and then you just ask for certain parts of the entree parts that are not GF to be voided such as Parmesan bread crumbs.
4.5 After searching for LF plus GF plus Canola free prep and cooking, found Eli's with a great late night menu. Ordered Surf & Turf. Server offered up options without hesitation. Steak was cooked as a medium should be pink warm center. After 4 other attempts up Nicolette and Hennepin 5th time was the charm for this local late night charmer.
