Udi’s crust. Okay pizza but at least I was safe and the rest of my family was happy!
Service was only 4 star but pizza was good and staff was knowledgeable about safety precautions.
Service is ok, waiter check on us once and wasn’t even going to take our plates away before bring pizza expect us to eat off the salad plates. Their food is bland, no flavor has to through lots of stuff to make it taste good. We were disappointed to say the least. Don’t waste your money.
The regular pizzas were very good, and the service was excellent. They have a GF pizza crust, but they really overcooked my daughter's GF pizza, so I don't think they know how to cook it properly. I didn't send it back, though, so I didn't give them a chance to fix it, which I'm sure they would have.
Came on a Monday at 2pm. Terrible service and the pizza wasn’t very good at all. Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend it to others
GF pizza and many salad options. No reaction from two with celiac. Great sangria and fun atmosphere (I went with my two kids and an old college friend).
I am staying in DC for a volleyball tournament and it's always hard to find gluten free things away from home. Ella's was amazing! Great service and I had no problems with the pizza (I have Celiac). One of the best pizza places I've ever been to!
We are regulars. I appreciate that they offer gluten free pizza crust and vegan cheese since I'm gluten and lactose intolerant. Service is always prompt and friendly!
Gf accommodation was good, including the server recognizing before bringing one of our pizzas that the kitchen made it on a regular crust by accident. Gf pizza crust not very good; mussels portion was tiny. But there is a separate gf menu, and many interesting gf toppings for the pizzas
Located in the heart of Washington, DC's Gallery Place/Chinatown neighborhood, Ella's Wood Fired Pizza is the perfect spot to hang out after a basketball game, hockey match or a concert at the Verizon Center. The Neopolitaninspired menu features a variety of wood fired pizzas, all of which can be made using a glutenfree crust. Try out the Wild Mushroom or the Sausage Pizza. Oh, so good...All of the salads can be prepared gluten-free by simply omitting the croutons. My personal favorite is the Orange & Beet Salad which features an orange-balsamic vinaigrette, arugula & crumbled goat cheese. Check out Ella's for Happy Hour weekdays from 4pm-7pm for amazing drink specials and $5 pizzas!
awful tasting GF pizza, better options in the area. my crust came out under cooked and doughy. pizza overall was flavor less.
They'll make any pizza on a gf crust, which is pretty thin and crackery. I don't know if the crust is vegan (I've never asked, but I'm lactose intolerant and I've never reacted to it). They're quick enough that you can get in & out in an hour lunch break but get pretty crowded for dinner, especially when the Caps are at home. Expect to wait a bit for a table.
