This restaurant is extremely rude about allergies. I’m extremely sensitive so based on reviews, I was not comfortable eating here. However, my daughter (who can eat gluten), is a singer and loves broadway, so we didn’t want her to miss out on this experience. We waited an hour to get a seat, but when we only ordered 2 items plus a shake, they gave us a hard time because we had 4 sitting (my son can’t eat gluten either), claiming they had a $20 minimum, which we were easily fulfilling. It just made us feel really ostracized or like it was our fault that we can’t eat their gluten-containing food. Then, when I took out some gluten free food for my 6 year old son, they made us put it away per board of health regulations. While I understand they have to abide by rules, I did not appreciate the way they made us feel about everything. The singing was incredible and my kids enjoyed that, but I was hungry and the treatment honestly ruined the experience for me. I have been gluten intolerant for 9 years and I have never felt so ostracized for it. I would not go here again.
