I got the key west and I definitely recommend! It was very delicious and I didn’t have any problems with it. I didn’t have a lot of interaction with the staff because everything was clearly marked on the menu.

I wanted to love this place. Menu clearly marked with gluten free options, however I have some additional restrictions (AIP). Our server Sonia was incredibly rude from the start but when I asked some additional questions about my restrictions she just said “I don’t know”. I had to ask her to go ask. Eventually I talked to the chef who was wonderful and nice and helped me out. Sonia remained rude the entire time we were there kind of throwing our food down and talking to us with an attitude and she just ruined the experience for us. Otherwise I’d say this place could be great

Great selection of food you can't usually find celiac-safe. There's a separate fryer. You can get fried yuca with garlic and sweet or savory fried plantains.

A little skeptical when I first got there but food was great and not glutened

Unique food with lots of gf options. Knowledgeable wait staff, great latin options, especially if you like plantains!
Staff is super friendly and let me know that not everything is safe, but they made me meal that was safe for a Celiac. I am super sensitive and was completely ok!

Delicious food and the majority of the menu is GF. One of my favorite GF restaurants. Really inexpensive prices for the large amount of food. Bonus is it’s located in the same shopping venter as the Cravory which has GF cookies.

We came here based on the reviews. The menu is labeled with GF by the food items that are GF and there were several GF options. My daughter is celiac and highly sensitive. She did not get sick from eating here. We ordered her a plain rice bowl with grilled chicken. We should have gotten her a sauce to go with it but didn’t because we weren’t sure, being a kid, if she would have eaten it anyway. We ordered a basket of fries which she liked as well with the catsup mayo sauce. I ordered the Key West which is like a chicken rice bowl with lettuce and tomatoes and a special curry like sauce. It was labeled GF and was delicious!! I don’t have celiac but I do ha e tasted buds. It was yummy. We like this place. Heads up that parties greater than 6 should get a reservation

My daughter (she has celiac) ordered the rice and beans and combo fries. She loved them! My husband enjoyed having everyone sing happy birthday to him in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew! Will definitely go back next time we are in SD!

Their gluten free items are marked on the menu. Ordered key west, camarones Brazilian, maduros, ensalada caribe w steak. Only tried key west and didn’t get sick! Nice combination of so much veges, carbs (rice) and protein (black beans and chicken) with curry mayo. Kids loved the food as well.

This was such a great place to eat. They had a gluten free work space and a ton of options which is rare for a celiac to have! I ordered the Bistec de palomilla and it was so good, no negative aftermath, just a full happy tummy. Would highly recommend.

This is a Cuban restaurant. One side of the menu is clearly marked as to what is gf. The other side of the menu where you build your meal with different meats & sauces has NO gf indicators. So I was disappointed in the amount of choices I had. But if you like rice & bean & plantains this could be a place for you.
A ton of stuff Gf and its clearly marked on the menu. I eat there once a week and have never been sick. Celiac friendly for sure. Delicious too!
