Wonderful meal! Menu was marked with GF options. I explained that I had celiac and showed my Portuguese celiac travel card, and I was assured that they could prepare my food safely and without cross contamination. I had the Cod, vegetables, and mashed potatoes and we shared the prawn appetizer. Everything was delicious and they seemed very on top of things from a celiac perspective.

Food is nice and the service is friendly

But we told them we’re celiac and asked if the tasting menu was gluten free, they assured us it was…

And then every single course came out with gluten containing bread, and a gluten containing brownie for desert… I think the fish we were served was also the only fish on the menu with gluten…

I just had a most fabulous GF dinner this evening here. The utmost care was taken in accommodating my partners dinner to be shareable with me ~ including the warm toast for dipping. Everything was DEELISH and our server Sofia was fabulous. She handled every detail! I can hardly wait to return! Thank you to all for making this a 5🌟experience for me.

Everything was perfect in Escama. Décoration, service and most important GF FOOD ! It is a gourmet restaurant, dishes are well designed with quality ingredients. I was with my boyfriend, we had as starters : olives and seagrass, oysters, tuna lightly cooked with caramelized onions, aubergine's salad with cashew nuts and cheese. Main dishes were : monkfish on beans with fennel sauce and gamberoni, and the "perfect choice" turbot fish with truffle potatoes mousse topinambour purée mushrooms and hazelnuts. The very plus was a offered surprise dessert made on purpose for us GF : a white chocolate caramelized with some green apples and ice cream and I don't know exactly what but it was a true delicious mix of textures and flavors 😋 I think that we can trust them on the GF. It is on the menu and you have more than the 50% of the carte GF. The garçon was well-informed and very friendly, he helped with wines and make us choose and taste some specialties. A big thank to Escama for the perfect dinner :)

Menu restauracji nie było w pełni bezglutenowe,ale w liście posiłków oznaczono,które dania są GF. Obsługa była bardzo dobrze poinformowana na temat diety GF. Przed podaniem posiłku tłumaczyli co mi podają. Jedliśmy przystawkę ze ślimaków w winie,a następnie rybę z anchois. Bardzo fajne miejsce.
