Was my favorite restaurant since I’m gluten free. Last two times I was there was extremely disappointing. First time I had to send my chicken francese back which is my favorite thing there. It was missing lemon and was full of garlic. The second time not only was the service extremely slow, my food was only ok and I overheard someone say the chef is temperamental and doesn’t accommodate requests. I’m hoping these two times are not the new norm.
I order the chicken parm alla vodka every time I come down it’s delicious. The calamari is soggy if you order delivery . And the pizza doesn’t taste great but pasta dishes are delish
We went here a few weeks ago and was told by the young manager not to worry if a little flour gets on the pizza because it will “just burn off”. I have to admit that we regret we didn’t say anything at the time. Despite being told that the owner’s daughter has celiac and eats there all the time, the other things about the kitchen just didn’t meet our standards.
I got diagnosed with celiac disease a little over 2 months ago. Navigating travel and fun activities while maintaining a gluten free diet is hard. While visiting the shore I came across Esposito’s and they did not disappoint. The owners two children suffer from celiac disease, so the menu features plenty of AMAZING options to eat. If you are in the Manasquan area and eat gluten free, I highly recommend eating there!
The gluten free selection is incredible. I always get the chicken parmigiana alla vodka. Delicious breaded chicken cutlet and the sauce is insanely good. Lots of pasta and baked dishes. I cannot recommend this place enough !!!!
To the person who left 1 star, random meat chunk is prosciutto, a listed ingredient that is gluten free. They are extremely careful. That was a terrible assumption on your end.
Best gluten-free chicken franchise I have ever had! Flavorful and tender. Great sauce. Most places just dump oil and garlic and call it a day. They know how to do gluten free. Highly recommend!
Ordered gluten free penne vodka and the pasta was gluten free but as I was eating I found random meat chunks in it which leads me to believe that there is cross contamination. Would not eat here again.
I was extremely excited about the separate large gluten free menu...until I started asking questions. The bottom of the menu states they try their best to avoid cross contamination. I was planning to order the mozzerella sticks and gluten free chicken parm made with vodka sauce (yum!). I have celiacs so I need to be super careful. I asked the waitstaff if there was a separate gluten free fryer. There is not. So I asked if they baked their mozzerella sticks (they don't). They are fried in the same fryer as all other gluten containing menu items. This is the same case with the chicken parm as this is placed in the fryer also. They should not say they try to avoid cross contamination when they knowingly use the same fryer. Sadly another place not safe to eat.
They have a separate GF menu that is not on their website. My son has Celiac and has never had a problem. They have a large GF menu with apps, dinners...not just pizza. Very friendly staff and a BYOB.
