Espresso Huis

Fabulous food & service! Love the homemade soups and interesting salads. Ingredients are always excellent quality and local when possible. We live in NC but visit Schuylerville frequently to see family. Their gluten free options are delicious and my gluten-free 13 yr old daughter loves their sandwiches so much that sometimes she has both lunch and dinner takeout from Espressohuis. Be sure to tell them that you are celiac (or just that you need gluten free). It's one of the only places that my daughter has eaten many times and has never gotten sick from. They are very careful with gluten-free - makes it a joy to eat there!

Owner understands that celiacs need dedicated utensils/surfaces/etc. be sure to mention you're a celiac when you order and they will use clean utensils, wrap bread in foil to toast, etc. No special menu, you choose from regular menu. They use saratoga gluten free rolls (yum)! Cupcakes available, too!
