Have gluten free options for afternoon and high tea, staff were knowledgeable and absolutely lovely. Had the high tea, with a lovely warm fruit scone and "half" a sandwich (though for gf seems to be 1 and 1/2!).Will have to go back to try their cakes!

This place was amazing. So few places can do the intersection of GF and vegetarian and they did great (even have vegan GF options I believe). Had a lovely afternoon tea with a cheddar chutney sandwich (many chutneys have malt vinegar in them but they double checked and it is safe!). They don’t frame things as GF but rather “non gluten containing ingredients” because they carry items with gluten. I respect their caution around this; I am a fairly sensitive celiac and took the risk and was fine (the fact they were so cautious made me feel better). But obviously it might not be worth the risk for you. That said, the bread was light and fluffy, the Victoria sponge the perfect texture. Happy as a clam, and I loved the Keep the Heid tea I bought! Highly recommend.

Good range of gluten free food for lunch. A little bit pricey but a great range with a lovely range of teas. Staff seemed on it to make sure food was definitely gluten free

This wee tea house is so cute! They are able to make most of their sandwiches gluten free. The variations of afternoon tea are also available with gf options (scones, cake, etc). I had the smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich with my afternoon tea, as well as carrot cake. All totally worth the £15. Be sure you visit the Tea shop for more fun accessories on Rose Street. Serious tea lovers will feel right at home.
