Jan 27, 2024- This Grocery Outlet location has been open in Uniontown, PA for a bit over a month. I became familiar with this grocery chain while living in Washington state, so I was familiar with their plentiful GF options. The Uniontown store has large selection of GF items. These include BFree brand breads (loaf, buns, pitas, wraps, and begals). Pizza Oggi frozen GF pizza, Milton's GF crackers, GF tamari soy sauce, Glutino cookies, and many other items. The store has a very large ethnic section (for Uniontown) so it is easy to find GF items like Polish or German sauerkraut, Korean gochujang fermented chili baste, kimchi, mesa, enchilada sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice noodles, San J miso soup, and curry paste all in one location. Prices are not gouged for GF items, in fact, on common items like bread, cookies and pizza, they are cheaper than other larger chains in Uniontown. It is definitely worth checking out this location for GF foods.

I bought a lance GF crackers in a regular store and it cost 2.50 per box. I went here and found it for 99cents per box. What a deal!

Best grocery store for gluten free in town. They get the same things from Whole Foods and it costs half the price. Because it is surplus, they don't always have the same thing all the time- but it's fun to see what new options they have. This store won't save you money. You end up buying snacks you probably would have passed on at Albertsons, but end up buying because it's a reasonable price here. They keep a good stock of gluten free options, so you almost feel like a normal person shopping in this store.

The owner of this grocery outlet location has celiac. She orders everything offered and takes the time research the products. You can find a large selection of gluten free products at the end of aisle four. In the frozen food dpt you will find gf at the front of aisle four/five. It’s well worth the stop!
