Nor even going to attempt this place, I call Pentagon City ask him what do you have GF, .... everything.... really so the calzones.... everything except them.. Ok so the pizza.... yes. individual and 12".... Ok so would like GF pizza with Italian sausage.... thats not gluten free just the crust is... so you're telling me I can only order GF crust but toppings are not..... yes.... that's not everything you said when you answered ....<silence>...I'll go somewhere else thanks
I gave it one star because zero stars wasn't an option. The gluten free pizza was the worst pizza we have ever tried to eat... Gluten free or not. The calzone my granddaughter ordered she only ate the filling because the crust was terrible. And my GF Greek salad was lettuce with some black olives red onions feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette . Completely unforgettable. Wouldn't order from here again.
The best GF crust I've had, creative toppings, Omission pale ale and lager.
Ordered a cauliflower crust pizza that I was told was gluten free. Trial and error says it was not. My reaction was bad enough that I think it had real gluten in the dough, not just cross contamination.
I didn't try the gluten free crust, but my order was not marked or distinguished in any way as gluten free.
The procedures seemed safe but something went wrong for me. I ordered the Railroad grade pizza on the cauliflower crust. I was told that the crust was gluten free as well all the toppings on that particular one. I notified the server that I have Celiac and requested that she mark the order as gluten allergy. The pizza tasted very good but I assume that I had some cross contamination. I have over 1/2 leftover that I had planned to make a couple other meals out of. Hopefully some of my family will eat my leftovers. I have come back to edit the next morning. It possibly wasn’t gluten because my husband ate regular gluten pizza and his stomach hurt last night. I have come back to update again. I didn’t want to waste my leftovers so I broke over and ate them since it seemed like a small cross contact issue from my initial reactions. I figured the leftover portion could possibly be safe. I ate 3 left over pieces and felt fine with those.
Before sitting I asked the hostess if the gf pizza is cooked on the same surface as the regular pizzas. She confirmed it’s on its own surface in a separate gf oven. Our waiter was also very knowledgeable, he informed me the only pizza I couldn’t have was one with meatballs on it. We got 2 pizzas, one with the regular gf crust and one with gf cauliflower crust. Cauliflower was definitely better! Pizzas were delicious! Although it was pricey, $27 for each 12” pizza. Safe and delicious meal though. No symptoms, will definitely go back.
