Server very knowledgeable and friendly. Great pizza!
Staff was very knowledgeable, and had daiya as an alternative for my wife with celiac disease plus cow milk protein intolerance. Pizza was delicious without any reactions.
Good pizza. The staff are great at accommodating. Note that they do use a shared oven, but they cook on a separate pan upon request. They have a dedicated gluten free cutter as well. I have eaten here 2x without getting sick.
Pizza is pretty good. They have two sizes for their GF pizza. They also offer Daiya cheese. Have eaten here twice without any issues. They will go over what you can and can't have.
My daughter had her best glutenfree pizza ever! So happy, the staff was caring, no problem at all!
Most of the pizza options were gluten free, and the base was very tasty. I had a lovely vegetarian pizza (I'd normally go for meat), but this one was so good. I'd happily eat there again. Highly recommended.
life saver for my 8 yr old
The staff were knowledgeable and had a separate area for prep. Delicious pizza! I felt comfortable eating here and did not experience any contamination issue after.
Great GF pizza & Omission beer. Ate here 3 times in the weekend we visited & bought a bucket of beer to go for the beach. Staff was knowledgeable and checked everything with the kitchen.
Saw the place here, when we arrived the menu mentioned the gluten free crust multiple times so we were very excited. Tried to order it and they said they were sold out. Strange for something advertised so prominently. waitress also forgot another whole pizza. I ran out to get my daughter some gluten free food and bring it back so she wouldn't feel left out and could eat with us.
Called to make sure they actually served gluten free and the manager assured me I would not get sick& they had a separate preparation area. Get there only for him to say it would be a risk for me to eat it since they only wipe down the counters. At least they paid for our drinks.
Gluten free crust, vegan cheese, separate ovens, separate utensils, and knowledgeable staff.
Excellent pizza. I've lived in DC, San Diego and Vegas- and this is the best gf crust I've ever had. Zero stomachache from the pizza. Win! Not sure if safe for celiacs, but safe for people with wheat allergies. They also have Omission beer. If you can have that, all the better.
Excellent crust and overall great pizza! Service was excellent too 😃
Very knowledgable, great crust and fantastic choice of toppings so what with really cool server makes for five stars !
Probably the best gluten free pizza I've had! I ordered a personal cheese with ricotta...yum. The bartender had great knowledge of Celiac disease and we had a long conversation about it! She was able to recommend lots of gluten free drinks for me too! Highly recommend
I was excited to try this place as it came highly recommended on the app. The pizza was good and the crust was crispy. However, I got sick :( ordered the bigger pizza for leftovers too. $20 pizza and it all went in the garbage
Excellent gluten free crust and a huge variety of toppings. Highly recommend it!
Really delicious- great pizza - stuff very friendly and to a good price
Best GF crust ever & I've tried many! A little thicker than normal GF & crispy. Available in two sizes. Waitress came out three times after I placed my order to check/verify ingredients with me. Hope to return before I head home. Other 3 family members liked their normal pizza just as much.
we ate here twice while in Clearwater. The staff is great and very friendly. the gluten free pizza is absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere as well.
They had the best gluten free pizza I have even eaten! The crust was very tasty and the waiters are very quick on their feet. We got our meal in 20 minutes of sitting down. The gluten free pizza is $20 for a medium.
The pizza is very good here and you can have it delivered as well! The only thing is you have to call them because they don’t have it set up online yet. I did not have a reaction after eating the amazing pizza. I will say that the price is a little high ($18 for a 12” plus $1.60 per topping) so know what you are getting into.
Nor even going to attempt this place, I call Pentagon City ask him what do you have GF, .... everything.... really so the calzones.... everything except them.. Ok so the pizza.... yes. individual and 12".... Ok so would like GF pizza with Italian sausage.... thats not gluten free just the crust is... so you're telling me I can only order GF crust but toppings are not..... yes.... that's not everything you said when you answered ....<silence>...I'll go somewhere else thanks
After a long day of traveling, I turned to my trusty find me GF app to find a GF pizza to be delivered to our hotel. Ordered a GF pepperoni and mushroom pizza that was by far the absolute best GF pizza I have ever had! It's a perfect size for 2 people (or 3 small eaters). Do yourself a favor and order pizza from extreme pizza while in Myrtle Beach, you will not be disappointed!
We ate here on 8/23/17 with our son who is Celiac, and we all had a fantastic experience. We all are the GF pizza and agreed it was the best we had ever had! The rice-based crust is incredible. Our server was highly knowledgeable about gluten and cross-contamination (her mother is Celiac, too), and she did a great job explaining how the GF pizza is prepared. We'd highly recommend this place while visiting Breck!!
One of the best GF pizzas that I've eaten since being diagnosed with Celiacs! The ingredients were fresh and the crust/sauce was delicious. When I told them about my allergy, the waiter got the owner and he spoke with me, ensuring my allergy was the top priority. That's amazing service!!
It's hard to find good gf pizza so when they told me $25 I hesitated but decided to give it a try. Not worth the price. The crust is soggy and the toppings and sauce have no flavor. To top it off they forgot to bring the parmesan and crushed pepper I requested.
Our son is asymptomatic celiac so it's always hard to judge a place. However, we feel our son was very well accommodated. Or server Aaron did an amazing job! He made sure they cleaned up an area to work on our son's pizza, that it was cooked on a pan and had it covered with foil to reduce cross contamination. Our son said the crust was super good as well. My advice would be that if you are celiac, avoid busy times (which we always do anyway) and give this place a try!
Two out of four of us dining there are celiac. Pizza was excellent gf. No reactions. Server advised they take gf seriously. Already went back a second time on this vacation and likely two more times before leaving. Clean. Best gf pizza I had and was 12" so lots to enjoy. Only about $3.00 more for gf.
Nicest people ever. I ordered (by phone) pizza for the celiac family and wings for my gluten eating husband. The manager called me back to be sure we wouldn't be eating the wings and went to great lengths to keep everything separate. So kind!
I had the best pizza since celiac diagnosis. Great menu with many pizza choices. I had the Pandora's Box pizza with artichoke hearts, spinach, fresh basil, sundried tomatoes, feta, mozzarella, garlic and oregano. The staff and manager were wonderful. I went with four of my gluten eating friends and we all loved it and can't wait to return! Two had regular crust pizzas and two had different types of calzones. It is a nice, clean, friendly restaurant with plenty of tables inside and outside with great food on the lagoon at Broadway at the Beach.
Pleasantly surprised by this small casual place near Costco. The GF only comes in one size large enough for 3. The staff was knowledgeable enough to suggest avoiding sausage and meatballs and as a result of their diligence I didn't get sick. Pizza was good, but the crust steamed on the pan and was a bit soggy after the first piece or two.
Good not great pizza. Dough made offsite and they put on clean plate to go through oven rather than on rack. Toppings pretty clear so obvious they don't contain gluten. GF pizzas are 12". Friendly service - nice to change tv to a football game we cared about
Was a super busy night everyone was waiting an hour and a half to 2 hours for a pizza, we came from 6 flags and was starving for their lack of gf options, drove 15 minutes here, not the best crust for gf but the staff assures us they bake and cut it in a separate pan, overall the crust was crispy thin style if ur starving a good fairly safe place to eat
I have celiac disease so I was nervous about trying the gluten free pizza. I grilled the person taking my order over the phone. They work hard to minimize the risk of cross contamination. I enjoyed the LARGE gluten free pizza. I've eaten here twice and will eat here again.
I ordered their gluten free pizza with railroad grade toppings. It was a thicker crust...surprised me because most gluten free crusts are so thin. Only problem was that it soaked up the pizza sauce and tasted almost dry. Next time I will ask for extra sauce. Otherwise it was good and I didn't get sick!
GF pizza was available, but the quality was very low. My daughter has celiac and could barely finish a slice. Those of us who were non GF were also Extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. Decent place to go for a drink but I would not recommend eating here to anyone GF or not.
Hit and miss! I've had 3 gf pizzas in total from Extreme. First was delicious, and no reactions, second two were not the best and neither was my stomach after. Perhaps cross contamination needs to be looked into and consistency in the pizza. Shame as I thought first time I was going to be a customer for life.
I am not sure what the last two reviewers are on about. I can't stand the Udi's crust that most pizza places use (like Domino's). This was considerably better. I wouldn't say its the best GF crust I have had (which was in Portland) but it's far better than the average fair.
They have an allergen list posted on the glass of the food preparation area, listing all of the pitas and their allergens. However this does not mean you can get an allergen-free pita. You can only get the ingredients of the pita in a salad. Too bad the sign doesn't say this and the employees were even confused.
I gave it one star because zero stars wasn't an option. The gluten free pizza was the worst pizza we have ever tried to eat... Gluten free or not. The calzone my granddaughter ordered she only ate the filling because the crust was terrible. And my GF Greek salad was lettuce with some black olives red onions feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette . Completely unforgettable. Wouldn't order from here again.
