I just have to start off with saying no one with a moderate or severe gluten allergy should ever come here because this restaurant has no knowledge of how to deal with gluten free allergies and could care less if they serve you incorrectly. I came here for dinner on Saturday thinking it would be nice to try out another Italian restaurant that serves gluten free pizza and pasta. Boy was I wrong! I ordered the kid's gluten free pasta and an individual gluten free pizza for my entree. I split an appetizer that initially had bread but asked the waitress if she could make it gluten free since I have an allergy. She said no problem and everything came out looking fine. My boyfriend tried the gluten free pizza and said it was so good he couldn't believe it was gluten free. I took three bites and was also very skeptical. The manager happened to come by as we were eating and asked how we found the restaurant. I told him I googled gluten free pizza and pasta and he looked at me in shock. He told me the pizza I ordered was not gluten free. At this point I was almost in tears considering I have been allergic for 7 YEARS!! He said the waitress wrote gluten free pasta on the ticket but put regular white pizza instead of gluten free. Honestly they didn't seem to care at all. The waitress blamed it on me and said I told her incorrectly. Not sure how she can claim that when I ordered the appetizer gluten free and the gluten free pasta...why would I then want a regular pizza?? They offered me another pizza and I said no..obviously I didn't want to take my chances and I wanted to get out of there. The worse part was they charged us for the WHOLE MEAL minus the pizza. I put up a fight and couldn't believe they'd even charge us. They ended up making us pay for our drinks and at that point I felt so sick so, we paid and left. On the way home I added up the drinks in my head and realized they over charged us for the drinks by $10. When I got home I couldn't stand up and I have been sick ever since. I had to stay home from work and don't feel my best even 4 days later. I understand mistakes happen but what really upset me was the fact the manager didn't care and both him and the waitress blamed it on me. They should be thankful I didn't eat the whole pizza or I would be in the hospital. Thanks, Faccia Luna.
They do have a GF option but the food is so so. There are better options within walking distance. Last time I was here the place smelled funky.
enjoyed one of their specialty white pizzas as a GF pizza and half left over for lunch :-)
GF pizza and pasta
Absolutely best GF pizza I have had out. Crispy crust and huge selection of unique toppings ranging from sun-dried tomatoes to crispy potatoes. I have never gotten sick from their dishes and eaten there over 3 times. Would highly recommend.
Best GF pizza we have found
The pasta I saw online that I wanted was not available when I got there, so I ordered a marinara dish. The waitress laughed at me when I told her I wanted it gluten free. That should have been my warning. It didn't come out as described, it was literally just noodles and marinara sauce. Then one bite into the disappointment, I discovered a regular linguini noodle. Waitress asked if I wanted them to remake it. I said no and ordered a white sauce pizza instead with no cheese and added chicken and onion. The waitress again laughed at my choices and made faces throughout my order. The pizza came out quickly, but was the worst crust I have ever tasted. It was so bland there was hardly any taste at all. Horrible food, horrible waitress.
Best gluten free pizza I've ever had! Amazing pizza and food, my family goes once a week for gluten free wood fired pizza. I don't have Celiac just an intolerance so I'm not sure if it's celiac friendly. The pizza toppings and food are amazing, they have an incredible selection of seafood on weekends.
I've had gluten free pizza from dozens and dozens of restaurants and chains, and this is the absolute worst pizza I've ever had. Hard as a rock, tasted like plastic... so disgusting.
Although I don't think they aren't celiac friendly, their GF pizzas are the best I've had in town.
Pizza is good. Thin crust Never got sick off it.
Ordered the chicken Cesar without croutons, they cook the chicken on grill only for meat. It was ok but for $11, small piece of chicken, barely any romaine lettuce, didn't come with any of the other veggies it said it would, big rip off, pizza may be ok but I worry about cross contamination bc they make all pizza in same oven and in same right area where try through pizza.
Thin, unique crust. Excellent choice of toppings!
