The food was amazing, staff was knowledgeable, and many of the options on the menu were gluten free.
We ate breakfast here after we saw that it had gluten free options. The atmosphere of this place is very cute. It’s a patio style with outdoor tables amid lovely gardens, as well as indoor tables. I ordered an omelet and told the server I was Celiac. He told me it would be safe and he offered GF toast. I asked if it would be toasted in a dedicated toaster. He answered, “No”. I thanked him for his honesty and said I couldn’t have any. He subbed for a fruit salad. The atmosphere was very nice and they do make an effort but not enough if they don’t have a separate toaster. Despite being very nice atmosphere, I won’t go back. So, make sure you ask questions.
Although a set menu with choices is not our favourite style of dining, the menu on this evening was well thought out, and all the plates we tried were tasty and well presented. The filet mignon was promised medium rare, and that is how we received it. Same with the sea bass, which was beautifully done. The service was professional and courteous, and everything was looked after. Of course, dining outside at FARM is beautiful, with picket fences and greenery. A wonderful evening.

Server was not super knowledgeable and looked terrified when I told her I was celiac. She told me I could only have two different salads and that was it on the whole menu. I got the duck salad. The duck was delicious the salad was boring (spinach from a box with some very sugary walnuts and 3 tomatoes).
Had a fabulous birthday dinner there last night. It’s a seasonal menu and multi course prix fixe with great gluten-free options, all marked on the menu. All the appetizers were gluten free, as were 2 entree choices. The GF pistachio cheesecake was amazing. Chef toasted GF bread for me in a separate pan (that’s their protocol whenever GF bread is requested). The server was very reassuring about dealing with my celiac. Ambiance was wonderful! I highly recommend.
I rarely leave reviews unless the restaurant is beyond amazing or it’s a safety hazard. However, I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s my favorite breakfast place since arriving in Palm Springs. Our waiter, Carlos, is stellar as is his service. The owner of this restaurant has CD and has educated her staff well. The banana caramel French toast was amazing! I thought I was in the French Quarters rather than Palm Springs. All I can say is if you find yourself with a waitperson that doesn’t know their menu, ask for Carlos or someone else. Oh and the bacon Bloody Mary won’t disappoint!
We went here with high hopes based on the reviews. However upon talking to the manager this is really not a safe spot for celiacs. She said the kitchen is very small because it’s a historical building. They make all of their crepes with at least some regular flour and although they wipe surfaces, she couldn’t say how often they used fresh, clean towels. They would have had to clean specifically for us, which she was willing to do, but French toast or regular toast are both made where gluten toast/French toast is!! Same griddle same toaster. Eggs and bacon would be okay as long as you’re okay with there being flour potentially anywhere around the spot they cook the eggs and bacon. Our daughter wanted pancakes or French toast so we left. :(. She was very friendly but kept saying “it depends how sensitive you are.” Really celiac is not a measure of sensitivity. Even if you don’t have overt symptoms there’s evidence you may still be having damage to your intestines based you read recent studies.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about what they have that’s gf. I took the advice of the prior post and called ahead to see if they had gf bread and they did. I ordered an omelet and my son had the French toast. The atmosphere here was amazing. Get here early because the place fills up quickly!
