terrible. not one but TWO separate times they brought out a gluten wrap after i specified that i had a severe gluten allergy. the first time they double confirmed and then when they brought it to the kitchen to confirm again they realized it was wrong and brought out the correct one. last night i went again and it looked the same as the gluten wrap did last time so i asked for them to confirm again. they did not bring it to the back like i asked but they did get the manager. the manager came over with an attitude and barely looking at my food, rudely said “it’s the gluten free wrap”. i ate it and once i got home i got very very sick. don’t recommend for anyone with celiac.
I called in an order to pick up, and asked if the grill could be cleaned off before making my chicken. She said she could ask but that they weren’t going to hold up other orders for my allergy. I have never had any problem eating here before, so I assumed that if she wrote that I couldn’t eat gluten the kitchen would take the correct precautions. They didn’t apparently because I got sick.
Loved the ambiance. Had great soup. Was there about a month ago though and I don't remember much. I remember being a little disappointed with the Gf options. I felt like the menu was a bit limited but there aren't too many places to go to in the area that have decent options. We'll be back.
We just tried this eatery after hearing from a friend that they offer GF options. The server was very helpful in pointing out what was safe and offered substitutions for what I could not have. I had an omelette and GF toast. Unfortunately, the fries, home fries, and sweet potatoes are not GF. They offered a salad as a side(an odd breakfast choice), which I declined. They do have a few dinner/lunch entrees as well as soup and chili that are GF. All of the ingredients were fresh and the serving size was plentiful. If they could add a dedicated fryer or more options as GF sides it would make the menu more appealing.
