Staff is very friendly, “normal” pizza the rest of the family says is great. HOWEVER, this is a gluten-free review. We did take out on a gluten-free pizza which was so bad that we actually threw it away. So, gluten-free? Order a salad NO CROUTONS!
Farelli's has always been my go to hangout spot! They always have a few GF beers available and great GF pasta. I am not sure if they are "celiac friendly" as I just have an intolerance to gluten. Sometimes their pizza affects me, and sometimes it doesn't.
Gluten-free crust from Still Riding Pizza
If I could give 0 stars I would. I spent 10 minutes talking to them about celiac and cross contamination and they brought me a regular pizza. I had finished a slice before the waiter came over and told me about the mistake. They then tried to make me pay for the pizza. I was sick for a month.
While Farelli’s will be fine for people who are merely gluten intolerant, it is not safe for those with Celiac’s. The gluten-free pizza dough is good, but they bake it on the same oven as their regular flour pizzas. If you are intolerant but don’t have to worry about cross-contamination, this is a good place to go.
I am not a person to usually write a review but my experience here was horrible. The glutenfree options are limited and even the items that said were glutenfree friendly was not available, which was upsetting because I chose the restaurant based off it being glutenfree friendly. Plus the waiter didn't listen to my order and I had to chase him down only to find out I couldn't have what I ordered anyways. I ended up with the Chop Chop salad and the chicken was burnt to a tar . The whole experience left me angry and wanting to leave as soon as possible. Since I have celiac I react quickly, and barely made it home before I was sick and needed a restroom. Basically if you can't eat gluten DON'T GO HERE!
I ordered a gluten free pizza and hadn't eaten all day. When I got it I immediately started eating because I was starving. After two pieces I realized that they had given me a normal crust instead of gluten free. I got so sick. Seriously the WORST place and clearly don't care about food allergies.
I don't understand how a pizza parlor who has good non-gluten free pizza can mess up a GF pizza each time I've ordered it. Either it has hardly any toppings and was over cooked or had too many of one topping, barely any cheese, and under cooked. Once they didn't even give me a GF pizza. I will not be returning.
Had the GF pizza and it was horrible! I have went to many places for GF pizza and this is the worst pizza I have had yet. It was mushy. I wasn't able to eat any of it. The staff was nice and replaced it with a GF salad. I was very disappointed though because the pizza is why we went out.
I've gone three times. Left super disappointed every time. The pasta option is awful and the crust for the pizza was spongy and tasteless. I really appreciate them making gluten free dishes but they weren't worth the calories or money.
Their GF pizza is good but only comes in one size and costs extra... Had to order two to feed two hungry people. Also, if you like pizza for the cheese you may want to request extra because they don't put much on!
update: The best tasting gluten free pizza I have ever had! Except service is sloooow and the don't communicate well so beware. Last time I went the ticket said GLUTEN FREE and they gave me regular dough and I didn't notice till AFTER I took the first bite! I was sooo sick for such a long time. They supposedly sent me hm with a totally gluten free pizza for messing up my order and even that one made me sick :( They need to FOCUS, communicate, and move a lil faster!
