I had a delicious meal at Fatt Root. They do NOT mark their GF items. Instead, you tell them your “allergy” and they will make sure you get a safe meal. This may mean adjusting ingredients (rice noodles in place of egg noodles) or cooking mode (steamed broccoli instead of fried). I was hesitant, but they assured me the kitchen takes “allergy” orders very seriously. When they brought food to the table they indicated which items did have gluten in them (my dining partners had some excellent looking gluteny dumplings) to make sure I wouldn’t sample them. I would definitely return.
