Fiesta Bonita Mexican Restaurant

Being from Colorado we know amazing Mexican food. We found a lovely place in Bonners ferry but shopping in Sandpoint we were craving some good Mexican food! Fiesta Bonita fit the bill. It’s a little mom and pop place. Nothing fancy and that’s fine we love the hole in the wall places. I called before asking about GF/DF options. This sweet lady said “everything (minus desserts) is GF except anything with a flour tortilla!” I was elated. We got there and this adorable older lady looked at me and said “Hello! How is your day?” I recognized her voice and said “I believe you’re the sweet lady I just asked about allergen friendly options.” She said “Yes! We don’t use flour in anything (again desserts not included).” I ate, enjoyed and didn’t get sick! Whoop!!!

They have specials M-F. The special this day was 2 enchiladas, rice and beans. Flavor- very well seasoned! It’s fresh. The enchilada sauce is traditional not Americanized. Salsa has a bit of spice but could use more. Hand made margaritas are perfect and not super sweet. I’m kind of a bean snob and their refried beans are mmmmm! Enjoy! Ps they have options for many dietary needs.
