Best ice cream I’ve ever had. They were extremely transparent and accommodating to us. Dedicated waffle iron for cones, fresh tubs for ice cream. Great staff and yet again, best ice cream I’ve ever had
They have fresh made GF waffle cones! My son and daughter had never had a waffle come in their lives and they loved them! They have great flavors and the staff were friendly and very helpful. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a stop!
Super knowledgeable about cross contamination. The guy even opened up a new thing of ice cream to scoop from just in case the top of the open one may have been contaminated by a scooper.
Almost all flavors are gluten free, and what’s even better is they really care about allergies and celiac disease. Gluten free waffle cones made on the spot - dedicated cone press and the sugar cones are purchased and not made in the kitchen. Offered to make me a fresh waffle cone on the spot after hearing i have celiac, because the case the cones are displayed in have them stacked next to each other. Server also stated they would scoop my companions scoops first and then get out a fresh scooper to avoid cross contamination. I also happened to be there when a new hire was being trained and overheard the manager figure describing the process when someone has an allergy and their glove changing policies. Not to mention delicious flavors!
One of the best icecream flavours I ever found in my life. I loved their flavours which were so unique and authentic. I went again the next day before leaving for Seattle just to have the same flavour again. Owners were very nice. I liked their cute steel ice cream tasting spoons!
Sooo good dairy free ice cream. Such a treat finding ice cream that is even creamier than the regular one. GF/DF marked clearly for everything including the toppings. Still dreaming of the hazelnut praline.
Probably the best ice cream I've ever had (before or since my celiac diagnosis), and they've stepped up their allergen protocols in the last couple of years and it feels super safe! Most flavors are gluten free, and the ones with gluten are clearly marked on the in-store menu. The last time I went in I mentioned celiac, and they knew exactly what to do. The scooper washed their hands and changed their gloves. They pulled fresh/untouched containers out for both samples and my scoop (note: I went at at off time but probably would have skipped samples if it was too busy, because this takes some time). I ordered a waffle cone, which are all gluten free, and they made me a fresh one instead of grabbing one from the case next to gluten sugar cones. I hope this is all standard now (I didn't have to ask for any of these precautions) but I'm sure you could ask for any of these steps if they don't do it proactively. I got cornbread honey butter ice cream in a waffle cone, and it was delicious and also just really great that that combo was all gf! I also go in for a pint sometimes, which feels less complicated than getting a scoop with cross contact protocols. Overall, a really great experience and the best ice cream.
Not fully gluten free but gluten free flavors are marked and incredible gluten free waffle cones! I just told them I was celiac and she changed her gloves, opened a brand new container of ice cream and grabbed a clean scooper. Waffle cones are placed in the same display case as gluten cones but not touching. It was the only thing that made me a little eek but I did fine.
Amazing ice cream, gf waffle cones made on a dedicated press, and knowledgeable staff. I went there 3 times in a week on a trip and each time all I had to say was celiac and they’d start making me a fresh cone to make sure there was no cross contact with their gluten containing sugar cones, and digging out of a fresh container with a clean scoop. They had 18 flavors when I was there and only 3 contained gluten. 4 of the gf flavors were also dairy free.
Inquired about the gluten situation. Regular gluten abounds in the regular cones, though the waffle cones are gluten free. But here's the kicker - they use all of the same equipment to make all of their ice cream, and at least one of their flavors contains gluten. So sort of definitely a no-go for celiacs even if they use a different scooper. Can't you guys just drop it as an ingredient? Cause then most everything would be fair game.
