Another celiac I know ate here and despite telling them her condition found a noodle in her omlette at brunch. Because of this I haven't eaten here
The only thing marked on the menu specifically as gf was gf bread. Asked the server about the options and she was good about going to the kitchen to ask what the options were. Could hear the chef say to her “burger without the bun” in addition to a couple of other things. I went with the jambalaya. It was just ok. I do think it was safe to eat, but was underwhelmed by the gf options (considering they hang their trip advisor sticker at the entrance as good for gluten free) and was not impressed with the quality.
I revealed to the server that I was eating g-f as we were deciding. She indicated that the tree options I was considering would be gluten free. There were other options on the menu that I was not considering, but no indication of what was gluten-free. The shrimp & grits was very good, but the sauce completely overwhelmed the shrimp. We went on Monday, which was beignet night. They brought the beignets to the table with the check at the end of our meal. I had to call her over to order the flourless chocolate cake (the only g-f dessert option), even though she already knew I was eating g-f.
