Review of Fig

I revealed to the server that I was eating g-f as we were deciding. She indicated that the tree options I was considering would be gluten free. There were other options on the menu that I was not considering, but no indication of what was gluten-free. The shrimp & grits was very good, but the sauce completely overwhelmed the shrimp. We went on Monday, which was beignet night. They brought the beignets to the table with the check at the end of our meal. I had to call her over to order the flourless chocolate cake (the only g-f dessert option), even though she already knew I was eating g-f.
