This was a solid 3 star experience. The menu is clearly marked, but not all that much is gf. It’s so hard with the masks nowadays to make my points on cross contact clear, I had to repeat myself like 5 times to make sure the woman taking my order understood. I felt ok ordering the Tom Kha soup. When it came out the woman who brought it didn’t seem to know if it was gluten free, so I went back inside and confirmed and it was. The soup was good but not fantastic. Friend got coconut curry stir fry with chow fun noodles and he said it was also good but not fantastic. 3 star meal, 3 star communication. I think it’s probably safe for celiac if you really put in the effort to make it clear what you need. I did like the thin rice noodles that came with the soup, but a previous review had commented on how wasteful the packaging was- everything was served in to-go containers, even for dine in like we did. Soup came in this big plastic container, the noodles in a paper take out container, stir fry was in a paper bowl, they dumped like five plastic things of forks and spoons on the tables. Plastic drinking cups, soy sauce packets (not gf), packs of salt and pepper, the works. Made me feel very wasteful and I don’t know why they do it that way. Way more waste than necessary which is why I bumped it down to 2 stars.
