Excellent choice for out anniversary dinner. I must eat gluten-free because of celiac disease and almost every item on the menu was gluten-free. The food was delicious and proof that you don't need gluten to make things taste good. Thank you!
The wait staff is on it! They are very familiar with all allergies and asked every table if they had any before ordering. They were able to easily customize my meal to be totally gluten free. They also surprised us with candles on our dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Really nice touch. Wonderful place with a fun vibe. I’d come back in a minute!
The chef and two of her kids are celiac. So while the serve some things with gluten the entire staff knows how important it is not to cross contaminate. Food was delicious and my son (who is celiac) was able to enjoy a wonderful night out without getting sick. Highly recommend!
Go! It’s such a sweet restaurant. From what I recall the owners have two kids who are celiac, and so there aren’t just gluten free options but they are meticulous about cross contamination... with dedicated toasters and being mindful of the order in which they cook desserts to avoid problems, with a good scrubbing in between.
Had a lovely meal here for a special occasion. They definitely accommodate Celiac with a safe GF menu. It's so fun to be able to order anything on the menu (except the bread or biscuit). The ambiance was pleasant and the food was tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Outstanding menu for GF folks. The chefs are celiac and have created a GF menu that includes a number of items that I can’t normally have, including of all things fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. Quite yummy. Many other items were also delicious and all GF. Outstanding neighborhood restaurant with friendly service. They have a kids menu as well. Great place. Highly recommend.
High water mark for just how awesome a GF restaurant can be. I believe owner and chef's kids are Celiac, so they are super sensitive to it. EVERYTHING on the menu is GF, with the exception of their bread. And they make you feel welcome and safe. Fantastic place, with super tasty and healthy food. Only downside is that it's pretty pricey. But it's awesome.
This was a truly amazing experience in hospitality and deliciousness that I've been deprived of for so many years. Instead of an eye roll when I ask "what's gluten free on the menu" I get an enthusiastic "pretty much everything" from my server. And there are no compromises here either. Fried chicken? Meatloaf? Crab cakes? Sure! Sure! Sure! And the best versions of each I can remember, GF or not.
Super amazing food. Everything is fresh and the staff are very knowledgeable about GF. It's so great to go to a restaurant with mouthwatering dishes that I can actually eat with confidence. Highly, highly recommended!! Do your GF taste buds a favor and make reservation now 😉
Amazing meal with fresh ingredients. We started with the seeded gf bread and had a variety of appetizers plus one entree. I would describe the menu as California cuisine. The menu doesn't seem to be super kid friendly (although I didn't ask if there were other options). However, our kids found plenty of things they liked. The only gluten items are the regular bread and a few desserts. Owners are parents of celiac kids.
Oh my goodness! I'm in heaven. Everything on the menu except a couple of things and some desserts are gluten free. The fried chicken with cornbread is awesome. I also had the peach salad and a quark mousse. Sooooo good. The have a prixe fix sun - thurs for $38, includes app, entree and dessert. They even bring crackers and hummus to start. Love them.
