I went on a roadtrip recently and went into about three different firehouse subs. Every single location was out of gluten free bread even though they still had a sign on the front saying they have it. Very disappointing since I have celiac :( I emailed the company and they said “there's a temporary outage of the Gluten-Free rolls and we're working to get them back in stock as soon as possible” I hope they get them back soon because it’s the best gluten free bread (Schar gluten free bread which you can get at Walmart and other grocery stores just fyi)

Placed my order inside, confirmed it was an “allergy”, took a decent amount of time which made me think they were cleaning everything. The only downside is not being able to see exactly what is happening due to the tall counter. I didn’t get sick, I will be back!

Went in and found a poster at the order desk saying they had no gluten free buns and didn’t know when to expect them.
Walked out.

They advertise that they have gluten free buns, but they haven’t carried them in almost a year now. So the only option is a salad

We are GF and DF. We usually get sandwiches without cheese on the Schar GF Bun. In the past this location has always noted our allergy and have been very careful preparing our food. But last week when we ordered, they informed me that they have been unable to get the GF bread and do not know when they will be getting it again. We decided to get the sandwich meat in a take out bowl and took it home where we had our bread. It was delicious and definitely hit the spot.
