The two gals here are so wonderful. Changed gloves and took all precautions which helped my daughter feel safe and eat without anxiety.
They shared that gluten free sandwiches are made in a separate area and that it goes through warmer on separate foil.
Really appreciate a place for school aged kids to grab a delicious sandwich on the go!!!
They have GF bread (it’s Schar). You can get most of the sandwiches gluten free! They warn you when you order online that they can’t guarantee a completely GF experience, but they seem to do a pretty good job anyway. I’ve eaten there a few times and never gotten sick. The only bummer is that you can’t order GF options for delivery.
Be careful eating here. Staff have issues with the gluten free orders and spent most of the time being annoyed that I asked them to use precautions. When I asked about the gluten free bread the immediate response was “unfortunately” they have the bread and the staff member was rude the entire time.
Always a little scary going to a chain, but the staff was knowledgable and asked if it was an allergy. I was worried about choosing a sandwich that had condiments, but the staff said they legally have to open new containers of everything to make a sandwich for a customer with an allergy. Didn’t order a toasted sub, since I wasn’t sure how that would be handled. Didn’t get sick.
