Warning, their GF menu is not GF. I wish I would have taken a picture of the separate “GF” menu they gave me. You can clearly see most of the things on there are not going to be GF. I was going to order the fish tacos as they seemed like they could be GF but when I asked to assure the tortilla would be corn the server (who was super nice though) said no unfortunately it’s in a flour tortilla and the tortilla chips are in a shared frier. So I ordered the steamed shrimp (comes seasoned and with cocktail sauce) for an appetizer, cheese burger with no bun, and side salad with balsamic dressing (which the restaurant claims to be GF). I have eaten out all over the US and even in another country with GF menus and no GF menus or even claims they cannot accommodate GF a lot since my allergy diagnosis 1.5 years ago. I have never had a reaction. But that came to an end when I ate here. I had a reaction even choosing what should have been naturally “GF” options. I’m not overly sensitive to CC either and started having a reacting before dinner was over. 😔
GF items aren’t marked on the menu, but pretty much anything not fried could be gluten free. Grilled items are cooked on new pieces of foil to avoid cross contact. Staff was very knowledgable about GF options and made helpful suggestions on possible modifications. They have several ciders on tap too. Food was delicious and I didn’t have any issues after.
