I eat here every year on vacation. Almost the whole menu is gluten free so you can have fried shrimp, fried chicken and fried fish. I make a pig of myself every year when I eat here. Totally worth it! It’s an annual must for me!

Upon asking for a gluten free menu, the waitress said most of their food could be made gluten free except the pasta and mac and cheese. She also said all the batter used for frying is rice flour base and doesn’t have gluten. I ate the Fried Sweet Tea Chicken sandwich with requested a gluten free bun. The crunch on the chicken was as if it wasn’t gluten free and the chicken was cooked perfectly.

AMAZING!!! Entire menu is gluten free minus a singular pasta dish & the Mac and cheese side. Thick breaded shrimp (rice flour and cornmeal) and GLUTEN FREE HUSHPUPPIES! Absolutely incredible meal & no symptoms after!

We were so excited to dine here after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how this restaurant is rated so safe. They brought my daughter gluten Mac and cheese (after, of course, clarifying the severity of serving her a gf meal). When I questioned it (after tasting and clearly the binder in the pasta was not gf), the assistant manager smiled at me reassuringly and told me not to worry it was all gluten free. Upon further pressing and speaking with the chef, we learned NONE of the pasta in the restaurant is gf, and therefore her Mac and cheese was absolutely not GF. Due to the clear lack of knowledge and communication, especially from the management, I would suggest extreme caution when dining here.

My daughter had her wedding reception here. Three of us are Celiac (myself, my other daughter, and a friend of the family).

Food was excellent and our waitress was very well informed.

Food is wonderful. Lower rating for the service. We walked in at 630. Got our name on the list. Waited an hour and half for a table. We finally got a table and it took an additional hour or more from placing our order before we got our food. Our waiter was excellent and knowledgeable, it just took forever from the kitchen.

BUT the food is delicious! Dedicated fryer. Pretty much everything is safe except the crab cakes and pasta. We ordered the Banger Shrimp app based on reviews from here.. so good. Did not disappoint. I ordered the fried grouper with cream corn and seasonal veggies. It was delicious! The batter was so tasty. Like my pre celiac days! My sister who is gluten intolerant ordered the same thing. Neither of us got sick.

The restaurant itself is nice and would have a phenomenal view if it wasn’t raining and so late when we got in! A bit more pricey as well.

Dedicated fryer!! I was able to have anything fried from the menu with gluten free prep. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the fried grouper wit mashed potatoes and hush puppies. Everything was delicious! And the food came out very fast. We also had the Banger Shrimp starter that was fabulous. The kids loved their food too. There was a very long wait but we were there over a holiday weekend and we didn’t have reservations ( I don’t think they even take reservations) but there’s shops to check out while you wait. And the food was worth it! Maybe next time we will call ahead to see if we can get our name on the list.

So excited to find this place!! We ate here twice on our vacation and I was very impressed. The kitchen only deals with rice flour so you can safely have everything on the menu except for Mac and cheese and the pasta dishes. Our food was delicious. I ordered the Caesar salad and fish basket. The next time we tried the crab cakes and banger shrimp off the appetizer list and the grilled fish special. They even have gf hush puppies!!! This place is a gem and eat outside under the covered porch if you can.

Food was delicious. Server was very knowledgeable. I had some of the crab cakes, fried shrimp, crab dip, and grouper. Tried my sons chicken tenders as well. Most of the menu was gluten free. Everything fried was gluten free!! GF bun available for any of the sandwiches. I asked for a side of a sauce that came on a different dish than what I ordered and the waiter immediately knew that it was not something I could have. No need for a dedicated fryer when everything fried is GF. Party of 8 (only 1 GF) and it was everyone’s favorite meal out of anywhere we ate on our vacation.

Gf fried shrimp, gf fried fish and chips, gf fried chicken, gf French toast with brunch! I could go on and on. I will drive out of my way to eat here any time I am in the Florida panhandle! Don’t walk, run to this restaurant. The staff is warm and friendly and the views of the ocean are amazing. Great atmosphere and fun art work. Such a treat!

Delicious GF fried seafood! Almost entire menu if gluten free. Server was knowledgeable and did tell us they use a shared fryer, so would be a no go if you react to cross contamination.

We just happened to stumble across this place and it was just absolutely wonderful. All of their fried foods are always made with a gluten free batter, which is wonderful. Over 90% of the menu is gluten free, and the manager even said that their goal s to provide a safe and comfortable environment for those with a gluten allergy. The shrimp and fish baskets were both wonderful, as well as the homemade chips and fries! You also get an amazing view of the beach, if doesn’t get much better than this!

My daughter and I have celiac and are extremely sensitive to gluten. We had multiple great experiences here. All of their fried food can be gluten free! We had cheeseburgers with gluten free bun that was very good. We ate chicken tenders with fries and a chicken sandwich that was wonderful. The fried shrimp was also great. We dined in (we were seated quickly but food took a long time to come out). We also ordered carry out and our food was ready within 20 mins. We didn’t get sick at all! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying within 30A.

We called in our order and then picked up. We stressed that I have a severe gluten allergy. The person taking the call didn’t seem to know much about what food was gluten free but she took our number and said she’d call back if there were any issues. We got a call ten minutes later that the food was ready to be picked up. This was on a Friday evening so 10/10 for speed! The food was good and best of all I did not get glutened! I ordered the gulf fish sandwich on a gf bun.

Was excited about this place but also a little nervous because I wasn’t sure how thorough their procedures were. We came late and they were able to seat us. My waiter seemed confident about what was and wasn’t gluten free. I had the gf burger and my partner ordered with a gluten allergy so I could share his fried shrimp and fries.

The burger was really good but definitely had a reaction to it mid-bite. Disappointing. Yes, even places with rave reviews can make you sick.

I asked about a gluten free menu and she said that everything on the menu was gluten free except the pasta dishes. I ended up ordering a BLT with a side of hushpuppies (because when else can you get GF hushpuppies!?). Everything was SO delicious. It was a lot of food and I ended up taking most of it home. This was one of our favorite places to eat in Seaside! There were so many gluten free options for my gluten free son. He was really excited to be able to eat fries (no cross contamination in the fryer). He had a burger on a gluten free bun but could have also chosen fried chicken strips or shrimp. His burger came out with a pick in it to specify that it was gluten free (I always like when I see this). There were also lots of choices for adults from the gluten free menu. Our server was very informed and confident about how food was prepared and what was safe to eat. The food here was delicious, as was the atmosphere with beautiful views of the ocean.

Delicious food for Celiacs! Both of our children have celiac and they ate here very safely. Right away, the waitress was aware of celiac and that they take allergies very seriously in the kitchen. She said they can make almost everything gluten free except for the mac & cheese. Both of our kids had fried shrimp and french fries. The breading was delicious! They have a gluten free fryer here. To keep the entire meal gluten-free, my husband and I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich on a gluten-free bun. Also very good! FOOW sits right atop the beach and has beautiful views from both the inside and outside seating areas. You can come from right off the beach too... definitely do not need to get fancy but you dress up and will also fit in. Great experience!

This was truly a great experience! Although the menu wasn’t marked GF. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and said 95% is or can be gluten free and advised on my choices when they asked if my inquiry was due to allergy. Their fryers are GF except the one for dessert - which is only used for that. I was able to get fries at a restaurant!!! I got the mahi sandwich on a gf bun. It was very good. Was informed all fried food was gluten free and almost all items on menu safe. Ordered fried shrimp (banger shrimp), fried grouper, and kids chicken tenders. Tested with Nima gluten sensor and all tested positive for gluten. Didn’t try due to usually Nima sensor being correct and if we eat it bothers my husbands stomach.

Manager stated they have certified gluten free rice flour they use with a separate frier.

Tested blacked grouper tacos with cole slaw that they said they could not guarantee it was gluten free due to the corn tortilla. It tested negative for gluten.

We tried this place out for dinner yesterday. It was a little bit unnerving to not have items marked gluten free on the menu, but they straight up just told me almost everything here is gluten free by its very nature. So my wife and I thought we would do something a totally normal person does and order fried food! It was delicious! Our kids indulged in their gluten-free cheeseburgers and fries. Super easy stress free gluten-free eating experience.

Incredible food & the view/restaurant itself was beautiful! Asked the server about their gluten free options and she said it would be easier to tell me the things I couldn’t have, since their menu was so GF friendly! I had, seems silly but was a first for me in forever, chicken fingers and French fries. The pimento cheese dip for an app was so good too! Fried shrimp, fried chicken and fried grouper were just a few of the other GF options.

Absolutely amazing! Majority of their menu is gluten free. I got to enjoy fried shrimp plus fried chicken, though the fish and black eyed peas were my favorite.
