The staff are always happy to accommodate our gluten free order, and are careful to take the necessary precautions. Fries are made in a dedicated fryer. Burger can be served without a bun (i.e. in a lettuce wrap or in a bowl). Low points for lack of selection but high points for being a safe option.

Five Guys has a dedicated fryer that only cooks their French fries, which are delicious! You can get your burger/hot dog without a bun in a bowl, or on a lettuce wrap. The staff at this location have always been excellent about changing their gloves and keeping my meal separate. You can see the whole process as well, so can request certain things and watch it being made to make sure it’s safe.

Staff friendliness/helpfulness - 6
Symptoms after? - No
Price - $$ ($20-$30 per person, relatively expensive and not great bang for buck)

Would I recommend? - Yes but it is not a must visit
General Comments - The burgers have to be ordered in a lettuce wrap, request a clean of the surface and fresh utensils as well as new gloves. Staff told me the fries were safe as they are cut fresh in store daily and are fried in a dedicated fryer with a nut oil. Best to avoid milkshakes as some toppings they add are not GF and may result in CC.

Just went today (Match 12, 2024) and was advised fries are no longer gluten free. Very disappointing.

I have never eaten such tasty fries. They have a dedicated fryer . Burgers pure beef, provided in lettuce wrap. “Allergy written on bill”

Offer their burgers in a lettuce wrap or a foil bowl. Fries are gluten free and done in a designated fryer. Staff asked if it was an allergy to inform cooks to change gloves

I have had great experiences at Five Guys. The fries are delicious and I really enjoy the lettuce wrapped burgers or sometimes just do the burger in a bowl with no bun. I wish their online ordering app had a spot to mention an allergy though.
