The staff is always very nice and conscientious about cross contact when I request gluten free. There are no GF buns, but you can get the burger wrapped in lettuce instead, or in a little tinfoil bowl with toppings on top. They grill the gluten buns on a separate grill than the burgers and the fryer is only used for their (gf) fries.

Burgers cooked on separate grill, minimizing cross-contamination. They always are willing to put on new gloves when you let them know you need it gluten free, even without asking them to change gloves.

Guaranteed gluten free fries, since nothing else in the restaurant is fried. You can't beat that! No chance of cross-contamination in the fryer!

Obviously can't eat here if allergic to peanuts.

We bring our own GF buns and everything else is gf and delicious! Saturday lunch between little league ball games = perfect!

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it. I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.

If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.

The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
