The burgers taste delicious and they’re attentive to allergy needs, but there’s no gluten-free bun and their lettuce isn’t a good substitution. If you’re fine with no bun (lettuce or otherwise) then it’s great - they also have really good fries.
Never had an issue here! And it’s one of the few places you can get fries that are made in a separate fryer!
If the staff members didn’t handle the gluten-free allergies correctly, the manager made them change their gloves and start over. Very awesome!

Love that your GF order is tagged special as an allergy order & bagged separately from the rest of the order. They did a great job preventing cross-contamination by changing their gloves every time they handled anything on a bun. Dedicated fryer for fries. Separate person preparing only fries. Always happy when we find a Five Guys when traveling.
fries are awesome! there are so few places to get safe fries. the only thing i don't like is they only had shredded lettuce and couldn't wrap the burger well with it.

The employee at the registered spoke very knowledgeably about GF celiac safety. She immediately explained their safety practices. They have a dedicated grill for buns and the fryer is only for fresh cut potatoes. They offered a bowl or a lettuce wrap in place of the bun. They cleaned a separate prep space and their hands and changed gloves. The order slip/receipt was marked “ALLERGY”, the meal was bagged separately. They called out “Allergy” multiple times to the staff touching food.

I love Five Guys! I have eaten here a few times and do the lettuce wrap. I have never gotten sick here and they have the best french fries! Big fan! No notes.
These guys are great with precautions!! I've eaten here numerous times over the years and never gotten sick.
Asked if I had an allergy before I could ask even half my usual questions. They do lettuce wraps!
