Wonderful experience! The gentleman that took my order immediately notified those working the prep line an allergy is coming back. After taking my order the gentleman went and changed his gloves then prepared my lettuce bed and followed my whole order from start to finish ensuring gluten free items were bagged separate from the regular food ordered by those with me. Great job!

Pretty sure they glutened me with the shake I ordered.

They weren't aware about celiac so we explained and they went to great lengths to reference their allergy guide and accommodate me. Did not get sick.

I have celiac's and I have yet to get sick here, despite it being a burger place. They are really cautious when preparing your food, and you can watch them prepare it, so if you see cross contamination, you can ask them to redo the burger again. Also... tip from one of the employees: make you specify what allergy they're catering too... just so the can be extra cautious :)

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
