Five Guys

Had a burger on lettuce with a few toppings, it was tasty. Fries are also gluten-free and really good. Staff here are super nice and helpful in general and they were careful to avoid any cross-contamination ( changed gloves, made it clear to everyone on the line that the order was gf etc) they were great! The missing star is for not yet having a gf bun option, but the lettuce wrap was substantial ( plenty of lettuce ).

Great burgers no gf bun though, but will happily give you a lettuce wrap or In a bowl. Fries are incredible especially the Cajun seasoned ones.

Everything gluten free except the buns. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly at making sure everything I eat is separated from the bread.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it. I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.

If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.

The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
