Safe for me, wish they had gf buns but the lettuce wrap is good. Will change gloves when you ask.

Celiac - 5 Guys is always safe for me! You can order any burger “protein style” in a lettuce wrap. I always order a cheese burger. The fries are super safe in a dedicated fryer just for fries! Delicious! Sometimes it’s hard to find safe fries - well actually all the time haha, so I get fries here! I’ve never had a reaction after eating at 5 Guys for over a decade.

Really need GF buns in order to make the burgers good. (Would recommend Big Al's instead)The fries having a dedicated fryer was nice though.
Yes
I love the burgers and fries at five guys. I do wish they would serve the burgers with no buns on a plate. It is really hard to eat it out of the foil.
yummy burger, even without a bun. and super generous with the fries!
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
